If this is indeed the case, perhaps he was affected by something more than alcohol, and the breathalyzer test is not terribly relevant. I wonder how much the picture will resolve before next Thursday. As it currently stands, I would be concerned about taking him with a 1st round pick.

I suspect that after the Tiamo Alabaster disaster that's Rby off the Steelers board.

Where did you see it was 4 AM?

-Edit. I see now. The Breathalyzer was administered at 4 AM. How many hours passed between the 911 call and the breathalyzer though? Either way, fair point. My use of the word 'kids' will likely be different than an 18 year old's.

    That's a very real possibility.

I think you can pass a breathalyzer and still fail a field sobriety test, shining a flashlight in your eyes while you move your eyes back and forth, walking a straight line biz, touching your nose, alphabet. I've never had to do the straight line walk or touch my nose but have gotten all the rest. All of that I believe makes up a "Field Sobriety Test".

So while he may have been telling the truth technically that he wasn't drunk, he was on something.

That's probably still the case, though that's only if you're actually arrested. He claims he wasn't contrary to what the news reports are saying.

He plead guilty to a lesser charge this morning. The plea he accepted was to having “physical control” of a vehicle while under the influence. Zero points and no suspension. He has to take a 3 day alcohol education class this week to resolve the case.
