Let's Roll!!! All the way to the Superbowl. While I'll recognize that the Bungholes are a good team and they currently hold the better record in the AFC north, there fans act as if they are going to dominate the division for years to come sickening !!! We need to run the table starting Sunday in the "ghetto" playing the the thugs. Let's face it no one wants to watch the criminals play in the superbowl they want big market teams like the Steelers who's fans travel very well and create hugh revenue. It's all about the Benjamins baby "Go Steelers".

Well... I was with you until you mentioned "ghetto" and "thugs"

What does any of that have to do with this game on Sunday ?

When did Pittsburgh become a big market? A big fan base does not equal a big market.

We're playing the bengals. Pac Man is an absolute thug. He is the epitome of it. The dude shouldn't even be in this league. He should be locked in a cell.

I would say the Steelers are a big market team!!! Their are certainly not the Jags or titans. They are top 5 in sports apparel sales. Voted most popular and recognized sports uniform this past year. They always sell out their stadium and have a 10 year waiting list for season ticket sales. Their fans are always recognizing as traveling very well to opposing teams stadiums that's big market to me. You may have your on view but that's ok

The Steelers are a popular team, but Pittsburgh is not a big market.
Pittsburgh is ranked 11th amongst NFL cities.

I'm not sure what you're considering in the terms of "biggest market" teams, but Forbes had the Steelers at #13 in the league coming into this season, at a combined revenue worth of $1.9 billion. Their figure combines revenues from ticket and merchandise sales, TV and marketing, stadium valuation, etc.

Yeah it was from when he got booted for the year. Those were his exact words and Jim Rome used to play it all the time.

I DVR'ed that game and I watched it last night for the last time and deleted it I saved it especially for this game every time I watched it ,it just pissed me off even more. Bell is our future and two years in a roll players on this team ended his season just a great talent to watch and we don't get a chance to see it unfold again because of the damn Bungholes thugs!! Steelers gotta get this W for Bell don't get me wrong Williams has done a great job for us, but I feel bad for Bell hes a class act and good kid I enjoy watching him perform. God speed Bell you getting next year!!!!

PGH is absolutley a small market team. Maybe Steeler nation is large
and merchandising is large but our metro population is small compared to other NFL cities
and shrinking. Thank goodness the Rooney's, Mara's of the world believe in revenue sharing.
So it can't be like MLB, were the rich large (TV) market teams are will/ have been able to dominate.
The Pirates will never be able to compete with the Cubs(See local TV Market.)
St Louis the best baseball town in America will never financially be able to compete
in the near future with the Dodgers, Cubs, Yankee's. The Cubs are starting their own TV network,
How can the Pirates compete against that? We small market cities will have to rely on scouting and player development, then after we develope the players they will leave for greener pastures.

When is the last time the Yankees did anything? Also baseball does have profit sharing. Every team donates 31% of their local revenue and then that is split between all the teams. The pirates need to keep doing what they are doing and that's keeping their farm teams stocked. A lot of the Cubs players are from their farm system also. And yes Pittsburgh is a small market team.

I didn't say that and I'm not trying to start anything but those words could be offensive to some groups of people... Just my opinion but I think there are a lot better choice of words to use on a Steelers forum to express your hate for someone on another team

Ok, I'm lightening up now... It's game time

    GO STEELERS!!!

I think local TV money is the culprit. Pirates can't compete on a
    non level playing field.
