I remember him most when the Bengal fans were throwing garbage on the field after a bad call and he took the microphone and announced his classic line. "You don't live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati!"

My buddy, Gibson, and I were the only ones rooting for the Bengals at that SB party. Just because they were AFC and AFC central, to boot!

I thought it was snow balls but may be mistaken. He was a heck of a coach for Cincy though.

Almost all the time I root AFC, the Patriots put an end to that. I remember that Bengal guy who got injured early on and he was in pain but sat at the tunnel watching his team.

I'm assuming the Bengals will take Burrows from LSU. Will be interesting seeing what they do with him under center.

That was Tim Krumrie. Broke his leg on the 3rd play of the game. I still believe to this day that if he played the entire game the Bengals would have a SB title. Stanley Wilson really screwed it up for them as well though.

    Ditto.

I was still quite new to the game back then and the Steelers were hardly ever shown on TV here in the UK, so I figured the Bengals were somehow the closest thing.

    How times change lol.

Wyche was a good coach though, RIP

I had forgotten that Wyche invented the no huddle offense until it was mentioned on the NFL Network.
