RIP Bruce Kessler

Unless you were a big fan of action TV in the 70s and 80s, or a fisherman/yachtsman, the name is probably not familiar to you. Bruce was a TV director who did tons of episodes of A-Team, CHIPS, Riptide, Magyver, etc. He was also an avid marlin fisherman here in SO Cal and MX. The local tournaments were always fun when he was involved. Later, he became one of the first to travel on the new style Delta excursion yachts. His beloved, green hulled, "Zopilote". I fished with him a couple times and I have a few friends who worked for him. He'll be missed. 88 YO, no cause other than a short illness.

 

I don't remember the name, but I watched a $hit ton of A-Team, CHIPs, and MacGyver way back in the day... so I should know him.
