This one really bums me out. He was great in every role he appeared in. Die Hard is NOT the classic it is without his brilliant Hans Gruber.

He had a certain grace to him, and a voice that demanded your attention.

He was 69. Another one lost to cancer. Requiescat in pace.

What? Rickman was the man. He was almost too charming to be "the bad guy".

I'm going to miss that rich tone of voice rolling lines like velvet.

(But why a spoon, cousin? Why not an axe, or...) "Because it's DULL, you TWIT. It would hurt more."

"And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer... Benefits of a classical education."

"You broke the ship? You broke the bloody ship?!"

"I wanted this to be professional. Efficient, adroit, cooperative, not a lot to ask. Alas, your Mr. Takagi did not see it that way, so he won't be joining us. For the rest. Of. His life."

I could go on and on.

Die Hard is on right now.

"Nice suit, I have two myself"

"I am an exceptional thief Mrs McClaine and since I am moving up to kidnapping you should be more polite." (perhaps my favorite line :lolol:)

Agree with all of the above - Hans Gruber was best bad dude since Falcon Eddie. All of the Die Hards were great except for the most recent one which was really lame. Yippee kayey mother frigger! :smashbengals:
