I can get what he is saying, in 2020 and this year, different circumstances, but very limited and inexperienced teams, and he finds a way to get some wins.

The issue is losing games that for the most part should have been won (I know you cant win them all) lol..but also really having nothing to show in the post season for nearly a decade. It's hard to get ot and win a SB, but its not hard to get to the play offs, why in the hell is Eisen celebrating a HC that only makes it to the PO's by backing in, then getting swamped in the first round.

I know he is not going anywhere...so let's see what is done. New GM, young team that has built momentum the 2nd half of this year. If this team evolves and becomes something that other teams fear them perhaps MT can regain some of our trust, but recent history suggests (if we win Sunday), yet another year where we are bragging about MT's never losing season streak as we finish 9-8.

It’s a source of pride for the players, one of them was just saying they don’t want to be the team that breaks that streak. I expect the Steelers to win this week.

I think fans don’t appreciate how difficult it is to do that. Obviously we want more than that but that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate the little things along the way.

Also if the Steelers lose this week then they will not only snap the non losing since 2003 streak but will finish in last place for the first time since 1988. I like though what Joe Starkey said today on The Fan. "No one packs their bags and gets on the bus faster than the Browns after their last game".

Im not saying its a bad thing, but you rebuild to exceed what you have previously done, i get it, Ben and the others got old and in reality this is the first year of rebuild. Regardless of strength of schedule, having this record after starting 2-6 is remarkable with a rookie QB and the injury issues. That said going forward you expect more from the process, the window period for winning is generally very short, not even expecting a SB team next year..though just like Cincy last year lightning can strike. It's reasonable to expect more solid performances in games, and game planning that includes efforts for 60 mins with adjustments.

I really want to call his show and ask what the deal was with the bird seed. (No, I don't expect anyone here to get that joke.)

The Immaculate Reception and Franco's untimely passing were the only two reasons the national media was talking about the Steelers. Eisen probably need something other than the freakin' Cowboys and Tua's concussions to talk about. I've always been neutral on Eisen, but he went on for about 15 minutes about Franco, what he meant to the Super Steelers, what the Immaculate Reception meant to that teams' immergence and how bad a$$ those teams were. It was a nice, heartfelt tribute.

The guy's more wishy washy than a 1972 washing machine that's still working miraculously. He'll flip in a second and then again.

I'd love to see how fast Tomlin would be picked up if he left. Reminded of a quote about talent - A players hire A players, B players hire C players.
