Me too! Seen it the other day. Even Eisen is running out of excuses for MT.

 

Why would anyone care if the Panthers hire Tomlin? If you want someone fired, it's because you believe someone else can do a better job. Where that fired person ends up is irrelevant. Fired coaches get hired all the time.

 

I got the impression he's trying to say we shouldn't want him fired because he'll be hired instantly, and the Panthers are a front runner.

I used to hate Colin Cowherd of the Herd but I'm starting to think he is making more sense then Rich Eisen.

 

I've always appreciated Rich's clown sensibilities.

 

Trade him to the Panthers! Perfect! Picks for Popcorn. Should fetch two 1's and some since he is so beloved and would have a job in minutes if released so lets get some compensation.

Yes, I don't think Mr Tepper would enjoy Tomlin's awful clock/game management for long or his 7-30 challenge record.

 

Problem is, the Panthers don't have a 1st round pick in 2024. They traded it away to the Bears if memory serves

 

but would MT even want to go there? That is a crap show. that's also an issue with those crying to trade him. Has rarely happened, and while it could, with only one year on his contract he could just say no and retire for a year. If Washington made a call to Art at the end of the year and offered a boat load of picks, and MT said sure sounds like a fresh start, then yes let's do it, lol

 

Maybe there is hope for some draft picks if Carolina's picks up a phone and start talking to Mike about a head coaching Job. I definitely would not put it past Tepper to think the rules did not apply to him.
