The 3rd int is what caused me to expect to see Mason warming up to come in fot the last series.

The right play was called, Washington was wide open in the endzone. Duck just missed him.

It’s just funny how people get all wet when Rudolph or Hodges have an average game/win and start shouting Ben Who? Fact is Ben could probably come out and play better than both these clowns this Sunday!

This is Ridiculous! Who was the starting QB that helped the Steelers to an 8-5 record after starting out with one win in the first five games or so? Yeah...Duck! The undrafted free agent rookie QB that looked more comfortable than MR every time he was out there on the field!

Let's look at the logistics here! The game that Duck lost was to a 9-3 Bills team. They have a solid D! Steelers lost by a score. The defense has been lights out. But thinking you can just keep plugging "the other guy" in every time something goes wrong, is pretty ridiculous!

Anyone who knows anything about QB play, realizes that Duck has better pocket awareness than Rudolph! That's not saying he's bigger or has a better arm, or that his awareness is great but he definitely feels pressure and steps up (most of the time) better than Rudolph.

A poster earlier mentioned about how "one extra game" isn't going to make too big of a difference and they're correct! This team (if they made the playoffs) does not have what it takes as a whole to get farther than that. So just sit back and enjoy the ride! We'll see what happens.

Everyone should take a look at our Oregon State graduating QB Jake Luton! He's 6'7", has a cannon for an arm but... he has one of the best younger QB coaches/offensive minds (HC Jonathon Smith). He would be a great 3rd/4th round pick up! Where you should pick up your QBs in the draft!

Are you suggesting his wife has something to do with him being this big?

Hey we already have that guy on the roster; This pretty much describes Paxton Lynch. Although Lynch was a 1st round pick.

I am curious to see if Paxton's name gets mentioned this week.

Tends to happen when you're constanly flushed... Happy feet and no opportunity to scan the field. Happy feet alone make it impossible to do the latter as its mentally out at that point.

Online has not been up to snuff for what this unit is known for... Play calling gets wonkier by the week. Tough sledding for anyone.

Bottom line, I didn't see Duck lose his confidence/sh!t etc... Mason did both on full inarguable display. Neither were gifted a smart OC or game plan and I was MR all the way up to the bad ass throw he made that got him placed in the MASH unit. Series of events. Duck plays looser at this point and whilst maybe not the future, gave us the best shot at winning games. Gotta roll with him at this point... Maybe MR is the future or not but I'd like to se hoe these kids evolve for a minute before running either off. If the org did that with Terry we'd be minus 4 trophies but like with my wife, I get it her and a lot of others live in a knee jerk society unwilling to look past the zeros on the days game clock.

Judging by his girth, I’d say getting ready for a long sleigh ride around December 25th. Or, a gig at a local mall.

"He's like a building with feet."

I thought we were talking about Ben, not Mason.

Mason Rudolf needs to invest in a QB whisperer this off season
to correct quite a few flaws in his game. Mostly improving his footwork speed
reading defenses, mechanics in general. He must or he will be out of football.

They both suck. Once again why all the people wanting to see the post Ben Era look like fools. This is what we have to look forward to for the next handful of seasons a passing offense around 30/31 out of 32

He wasn't wide open. They had the single high safety and Duck though it was a cover zero. Plus he had to roll out left. Safety read his eyes and made a play. That throw to Washington would have been there if he was able to stay in the pocket. As it was it would have been across the field and across his body again.

The "Roethlisberger offense" fails us once again. Empty backfield is doing us no favors.

Can't have it with either Rudolph or Hodges. We have not properly geared the offense to our young QBs. We are giving them no help.

I noticed watching the Saints last night how much Brees is under center. Play actions. Rollouts.

Duck Hodges cannot be in shotgun with an empty backfield on 1st or 2nd down. It's ridiculous.

Tom House was the one he was training with. I would assume he will be doing more training with others as opposed to just soley Tom House this time. I believe he can bounce back though.
