Teams are figuring out what to do against us a bit more (though, the last two weeks it seems like the OL has been worse than the previous weeks, which makes it tougher for sure). I still think we need to try to run it more with Warren. We don't have a viable second WR option, our receiving threats (TE's included) struggle to get open (DK doubled, others just aren't open). There are a few things working against this offense, no matter who the QB is.

Same. I want to win everything all the time. But I also love the team building process. If we can continue to be a winning team while rebuilding, I'm a happy fan.

You know what would be neat, if Arthur was planning for this and in turn pivoted to pushing the ball down the field in response. Wishful thinking maybe, but saw it last week from Mason in a limited amount of snaps.

There have been quite a few examples of Roman getting open and just not getting the ball. I'm sorry, there is zero chance that it is all a personnel issue and not scheme issue. Scheme them open, they have good enough players.

    8-9.

Feels like the wheels are about to come off on offense. Only so much smoke and mirrors they can get away with.

No,it will be 9-8 and the non losing season streak for Tomlin will continue again!

The ravens could rest their starters in the final week of the season if their game mean nothing!

I have seen people post clips of Wilson and Muth being open frequently Rodgers just isn't seeing the field real good right now.

I highly disagree. The Steelers defense vs Bills and Lions offenses is gonna be downright scary. Steelers will compete against Ravens since they are familiar with one another.... division games, blah, blah, blah. Still... I don't think our D line will be able to hold Henry under 100 yards... advantage Ravens.

Next to impossible IMO. Who knows how Rodgers will be? Even healthy I can't see him getting us to 10 let alone 11.

And Rodgers is a major concern since he is afraid to get hit because of his age....If you think that 2021 Ben was bad in december, wait for Rodgers!

Rodgers with 15 attempts; 82 air yards
Rudolph with 16 attempts; 51 air yards

Rodgers was slinging it more than Rudolph.

We didn't see it last week with Rudolph. He had an OPI negate a kinda deep ball, but that's it. He threw 12 passes vs. the Bengals. 9 of them were within 5 yards of the LOS, 7 of them were at the LOS or behind it.... Nothing wrong with it of course, but the notion that we started pushing the ball downfield with Mason is factually false.

It is going to be hard for us to push the ball down the field when the only WR we have is Metcalf. He's a fine deep threat, but he is getting the safety all the time (due to him being the only threat). I get that there are specific instances where people THINK that Wilson is open all game, but I kinda refuse to believe that a future HOF QB simply refuses to look his way despite being open all game. That just isn't a thing. Our WR's and TE's just aren't open a lot, scheme or otherwise. DK gets doubled and the rest of them are covered more often than not.

I like the big packages because I think that Washington is emerging into a real player for us. Dk is a nice piece. Our tandem of backs in Warren and Gainwell is good too. We need to find a way to round out an abysmal WR corps and we might be able to do something.

Austin has shown he can make plays down the field it's up to Arthur Smith and Rodgers to get him the ball.

No, we want the game on MNF where the Steelers haven't lost at home since the 90s.

True but they had only 7 drives in that game and 2 in the second half....This is also true the bengals defense is on pace to be the worst defense in the super bowl era and Rodgers was not good, same thing for his previous 2 week

I don't disagree with you, but it's not the only problem. The offense is only averaging 88 rushing yards a game.

When your whole game plan is small ball, don't turn it over, run the ball, throw to your TE's, almost NEVER throw it deep, then you absolutely NEED to run the ball.

We're essentially trying to what Baltimore does, but we don't have a QB that can run, and no D. Henry.

I probably agree that teams will be figuring us out.
Much like they figured out Ben after a few games the year he threw really short passes.

Buffalo is struggling on the road with Houston and their backup QB, but the Steelers have no chance to beat them at home according to some fans on here .

Given what we're seeing tonight, I don't think we need to be so shaking in our shoes about the prospect of facing Buffalo.
