Sadly, western Pennsylvania and the golfing world is mourning the passing of golfing legend, Arnold Palmer. Throughout all his incredible successes, Palmer NEVER forgot his Latrobe roots. He was a true legend.

    Rest in peace, Mr. Palmer.

Nice tribute to a wonderful person and sports icon. The fact they were still recruiting him for national TV commercials up through this year says a lot about his character and lasting marketability. I believe they broke the mold after he was cast.

I'm not trying to be rude or a jerk here, but a friend told me about the area where Palmer's ashes were spread. He said when he golfed there he always thought that area felt creepy. He said this didn't help.
