Report: OC Matt Canada Will Call Titans Game From Sideline, Not Coaches Box

Good, now he can get a close up view of the train wreck.

 

Maybe he can draw pictures of the plays so players can understand and execute. I really think this is a good start.

 

That's what I'm getting. Some of his play calling just feels like he doesn't have the feel of the game. He's gotten used to having his sheets all laid out in front of him and just doesn't have a sense of how the guys on the field are really playing some of those calls.

 

We might be safe if he was standing in Quebec.

 

Not a canada fan but putting him in reach of the fans could get real bad and dangerous. In spite of how much I want him gone ............this may get bad. Will pray for him not just the team tonight .

 

how will they get the nachos and hot dogs to him that he is used to eating during the game? i hope it all works. i'm rooting for it to make a difference. stack wins.

 

Gunner was cut by the Giants so I'm sure Canada has a package in place where Gunner door dashes his snacks to him.

Canada still sucks no matter if he is sitting or standing.

 

It will be interesting to see how he responds. Hoping for the best. If he still shows nothing in the first half then hand the duties over and ship him out right after the game. Why wait til morning and have him waste gas money?

I hadn't thought about that but you're right. If the Steelers are losing 27-3 it could really get dangerous for him. I hope not but I remember Dave Parker getting pelted with 9volt batteries back in the day.

 

I was watching that on a break room TV when that happened. I was working nights, and I kept sneaking in the break room to watch the game because I had money on it. LoL

 

I am maybe too optimistic but I think they will score at least a FG in their first drive!

As far as offensive play callers, the Head Coaches would add to it significantly - Chiefs, Niners, Dolphins, Rams, Jags, Eagles, Bengals, Browns, Packers, Cardinals, Broncos, Cowboys, Vikings, Falcons, Colts...

I deliberately left of Offensive Minded Head Coaches though as they need to be on the field at all times. Feeling the ebb and flow of games is what a Head Coach needs to experience in person. Other factors apply as well of course.

I always wondered how that worked. It’s probably easier to enforce now that tickets are electronic and tied into your Ticketmaster account, but still it’s probably not really something they can enforce.

I told my Dad Canada is calling plays from the field tonight and he said Tomlin wants him to hear the boo birds, LOL!

 

I love this. Canada staying up in the booth 100% of the time is something that's always bothered me the most about him.
