I think we can finish 10-6. We will beat the raiders, the browns twice, the ravens, cincy, and Indy...losing to Seattle and denver.
Look, these teams were fortunate to catch us at the right time
The ravens and kc was ours....with backups
Cincy got us with bens first game back
Cincy leads the division, but I believe they lose 3 games..steelers,denver,cardinals.
And that's without any major injuries

I disagree with the Defense just being average. I would give them an above average grade. They have held this season together.

4 of the last 8 years it took 10-6 to get in the playoffs. 9-7 for 3 of those 8. One year an 11-5 team did not get in.

Love him, hate him or fall somewhere in between, Tomlin's M.O. is and has always been to coach from the gut. We've known since he was hired and exclaimed "I'm a fundamentalist as opposed to scheme". I thought his choice of words there was interesting, "as opposed to scheme". Why do they have to be mutually exclusive? Why can't you demand the fundamentals of blocking and tackling AND also work hard to devise and scheme for a specific opponent which includes making in-game adjustments? I believe that Tomlin gets out-coached a lot and that other coaches are quicker on their feet when it comes to making in-game adjustments. I know the coordinators are responsible for play calling, but the head coach sets the tone. Do you believe that Belichick sets the tone in New England? As long as Tomlin keeps coaching "from his gut" the Steelers will continue to be maddeningly inconsistent and frustrating!

if we don't win Sunday all bets are off on the rest of the season. You can put a fork in em. The jets have a very easy schedule and get fitzpatrick back
we cannot fall three games behind the raiders
there is NO Way we would be able to make up that kind of ground without running the table.

If we lose we would be 1 game behind the raiders, not 3, but the raiders are a young confident hungry team, and this game will be all about how well Ben and the rest of team plays, if Ben turns the ball over multiple times in this game our chances of winning will be nil...

I agree that we can finish 10-6- just not how.
I see us losing to the Broncos & the Browns once & beating the Browns once, Raiders, Hawks, Indy, Cincy, & Ravens.
I know they'll have the 12th man, but the Seahawks aren't that great this year. IF we play like we can & the D stays strong & healthy, they'll need more than 12 to beat us.

Did you really have that shirt made up? Awesome. So looks like Nebraska Steel played the role of Ellis Island and rearranged Mr Dylan's name upon his entry into the USA. Who would have known that Pimply would be every bit as prophetic as Forest Gump, just before The Bus converted Brian Urlacher into his custom knee pad.

denver isn't that good, we can beat them. Just depends which manning shows up. Seahawks we can beat them. Colts can beat them. Then again this team is not consistent, we can also lose out lol.

Just some added thoughts here. We are 5th in points allowed, 5th in rushing yards a game allowed, 27 in pass. Our defense is legit. Now that I got that out of the way...

This bye week is tremendous for us.

Bengals are showing their true selves, they will lose a couple more.

We can still win the division but I wouldn't worry so much of that, just get in the playoffs.

Nobody in the AFC scares me... even pats look beatable. Heck, NFC is not that scary either. If we can stay healthy... IF.... we have a good chance to do damage.

Will the football gods allow it?

I still think we wind up 9-7 or 10-6. It would be nice to do better but I don't see it happening. A wild card spot with everyone being as healthy as possible is okay with the way the injuries are occurring. We certainly don't need any more injuries. We have had more than our share this year.
Last week by beating the Browns by more than 4.5 points and the total combined score being under 41 points I made up from the previous week where I lost a thousand, so I'm on target again to reach my goal by the end of the season. Just need to avoid any more speed bumps.
I was going to take a week off from wagering since the Steelers have a bye, but since the Bengals came back to playing their normal game and lost last night, I'll probable do something on their game against the Cards.
I think the Steelers have and are going to make us very proud by handling everything that has been dealt to them and still windup getting into the playoffs and ? (maybe going all the way for #7/).
