When do the Steelers stop relaxing?

After 0-2-1? After 0-3-1? After 0-4-1?

Here, Here remember these are not your Daddy's or Granddaddy's Steelers!!!! Where we could attend or set back in our recliners and watch our beloved team beat the crap out of their opponent!!! Instead we have to wonder which team will show up and if our defense/ secondary will ever return to the form were use to having where they showed up and ready to play and deciplined. We are barely a top 5 team in the AFC and you are saying relax?

 

Relax? This is several games in a row where the defense looks like they are confused half the time a play is going on. This is an ill prepared team, week in and week out. The talent is there in enough spots where the Steelers should AT LEAST be playing average defense. But the execution is ****. At some point, you have to point at the brains of the operation. It was always there but big time players who were leaders to boot masked it. Now, this team is leaderless and has players that are so selfish that it's adding to the dread going on.

A win next week does nothing. A loss next week ends the Steelers playoffs. They are 0-2 as far as i'm concerned. A tie to the Clowns is a loss. So, getting out of Monday night 0-3 is all but done.

 

What do you imagine you can do about that?

Pretty sure we are in the bottom 5 of the AFC right now with our 0-1-1 record. Very likely to be 0-2-1 soon.

 

I hope they lose 10 straight.

yep, have to admire them for that.

 

Allowing an opposing QB to have more TDs than incompletion is probably a record too.

It is still possible. The other teams aren't that great. If the defense doesn't get better quickly it is not going to be possible for much longer though.

 

Yupp. But we are done in terms of competing for a sb. We cant beat jax, ne, kc, or hell even sd in a playoff game.

 

They were talking about this on the FAN this morning. They mentioned a stat, something like 620 teams had scored 37 or more points without a turnover in an NFL game, the Steelers, yesterday, became only the 2nd one to lose. The other was a Browns team in the '50s.

 

I think it's the Chiefs first win in Pittsburgh since 1986.
