I'm with you on everything but Smith, I think he will be nothing more than mediocre at best. His playbook is as vanilla as can be.

 

Not sure about that yet. There were several issues on offense last year that made it to say it was Smith's scheme. Harris isn't a good fit for outside zone, offensive line performance was inconsistent, QB play, no WR threats outside of Pickens, etc.

Watching this highlight reel. Look at the hand work with his leg drive and body lean. This is about as close to textbook run defense for DL as you can find. Really good reps in this one. Even get to see him beat Zach Frazier in a couple one on ones at the end.


I like this personnel move. We'll see how TV and the season goes.
