Redskins want Rivera

Any of you holding out hope that Tomlin will go to Washington will be disappointed to hear that unemployed coach Ron Rivera is their top choice.

 

Rivera may be smarter than that. Other teams may want him.

 

Redskins hire Rivera, so much for that.

 

Too bad he's aligned himself with that nut job. I liked him as a player and thought he did a good job in Carolina.

 

Well... there goes another great coach in Ron. Really like him. He deserves better but I suppose having the quickest available Head Coaching spot is top priority.



Ron though is not the issue. It has, and will always be, Dan Synder. Until he goes, the Redskins will remain irrelevant. At this point, I am amazed that the fans refused to go to games to close out the season rather than not going to start.

 

Rivera hired jack del rio for his DC, and I think that was a good hire.........
