    Per Schefter:

Redskins-Rams trade cannot be processed until Tuesday but Dan Snyder and Stan Kroenke signed off on agreement: three 1s and a 2 for No. 2.

Washington Redskins traded three first-round draft picks and a second-round pick to St. Louis for second overall pick in a trade first reported by @JayGlazer.

Before Redskins-Rams deal, Browns tried to make last-minute push to make trade for second overall pick. By then, too late.

Trade will not change Redskins plans in pursuing Peyton Manning. Intend to talk with and try to sign him, even if considered a longshot.

    --------------------

3 firsts...WOW. I figured 2 firsts plus like 2 seconds or something like that...but wow. They REALLY wanted that pick. The Browns werent willing to give up a lot and the 'Skins were. Looks like they will have RG3...better than the Brownies...

    --------------------

One other message by Schefter that is very interesting...(but doesnt matter now)....

If Colts finished with No. 2 - not No. 1 - pick, maybe could have kept Peyton and gotten same package Rams did. One spot changed everything.

This is too funny!! The sports broadcasters and writers from cleveland are out of their minds right now. For the last week they've all jumped on the RG III bandwagon HARD and pretty much thought they had him in the bag. I absolutely love when browns fans are miserable. :dancing:

Every time I read or hear about these ridiculous trade deals go down I become more convinced that the Steelers are among the best organizations in all of sports. Rarely do they make big jumps in the first couple of rounds and yet still come away very competitive each and every season. Polamalu was the exception to the rule and they pretty much nailed it.
How bout when Mike Ditka traded his entire draft in order to get Ricky Williams. How'd that work out for him?
