Recent signings filling holes

I was discussing in another post somewhere how I wanted Foote (or another vet ILB) to return, even though I liked Brian Rolle. The Steelers way is to cover their bases for a worst case scenario because it allows them to go with the BPA in the draft.

I'll admit none of the signings so far have been stellar, but they do fill holes we have in case the draft doesn't fall a certain way, and it's making it more apparent how we may go in the draft...

It's interesting to me that we haven't looked at any safeties for depth.

It's what the Steelers always do in free agency they sign players on the cheap and never make a splash in free agency. The Steelers priority is to re-sign some of their own players.

 

OK then - just sign McCarron's GF and Mom as our honorary cheerleaders- and we can entice him later.
