I want no parts of the Steelers being on Hard Knocks. 2019 was lackluster but at least it was drama free. I enjoyed that aspect of it.

Anything that can shake up the way the Steelers run their preseason I think will be a good thing for Ben and Tomlin.

We all know that Ben does not play or practice in Preseason. Then comes out in week 1 and just falls on his face. Either a blowout loss to the Patriots or a Tie to the last place Browns(1-15 the year before)

Maybe all those cameras will make him get off his ass and hit the filed a little more. With all the young players on the team he desperately needs to be building chemistry with his offense in practice and on the field during the preseason. The questions on HBO every week will be all about Ben and his elbow; and maybe all those cameras in his face 24/7 will give him the push he will need to prove people wrong and play a little this year!

I don't think anyone can argue that Ben has a "habit" of not being ready for week one but I think Hard Knocks is introducing 20 bad things in hopes of curing one bad thing.

Kinda like taking the muffler off your car to fix a small squeak in the dash.....at least you won't hear the squeak anymore:smiley1:

Ol Popcorn would love it. He could pump his chest, point the finger, sell the drama. He loves the drama...and there won't be a game on the line.

Honestly I think the team and staff could use a little scrutiny. Let’s see what happens behind closed doors a bit....

I think this staff has enough trouble preparing for games as it is. Now if we could shake up/wake up our owner, I'd be all for that!

I don’t feel it would hurt preparation. If anything it would help dot the i’s and cross the t’s . Hey there’s a I and a T in Tomlin...lol

You saw how Tomlin handled the distraction of Bell and AB, I fear this team would come apart at the seams with a camera at every corner for Tomlin to show what a great "players" coach he is. "Little House On The Prairie" comes to the NFL:smiley1:

HBO would love that story line of Ben coming back from elbow surgery, hopefully they choose Arizona.

The Steelers dodged a bullet, I thought they would get out of doing it because the Coronavirus would still be going around.

Weird, I thought the Rams would not be on it as they were a Playoff team and they were just on it a few years ago?

I guess thy could have volunteered.

Perhaps the uniqueness of the situation. If the stadium is ready both will be opening the year in the new stadium. Both teams need the exposure, yes the Rams went to the SB, but flaky southern CA in still not an NFL haven...the Chargers will have an even bigger problem filling that stadium..until they play the Steelers that is..lol.

Yeah I think all the criteria go out the window if the team says yep we will do it. I can honestly see the Rams and Chargers both doing that in order to win over fans who might not be happy with the move.
