I look forward to Steeler football no matter what. Brave, new era folks. I can't wait to see what this team looks like next year. How will they draft? What FA's will they sign? Will they make trades? Will they capitalize on the significant cap space they have? Fire coordinators and bring in fresh new minds, or roll with who they have and hope their primary troubles were the players? One thing for sure is that this offseason will be interesting. Maybe more so than the 2022 season itself.

Tomlin doesn't believe in no pressure. He heaps pressure. He takes all the pressure, dries it out, grinds it into a fine powder and then showers his players in it like an explosion at a flour factory. You think there's no pressure as +13.5 point underdogs? That's when Tomlin starts chopping off eyelids for blinking. :roflmao:

Without one the greatest QBs of all time not at the helm, I fear we’re in for a long cold winter.. <Shivers>

When was the last year that BB played like one of the greatest QBs of all time or put-up HOF numbers for a season? I don't think the numbers he put up this past few season were all that remarkable or couldn't be duplicated by someone, right? Or am I missing something? JMO>

2014... when Ben had back-to-back 6TD games vs. Colts and Ravens. The Bell knee injury derailed that season.

    correct

He was a MVP consideration too, I think it was the 2017 season, but usually, Ben was just our loved QB - always 3rd - 5th best each year, even in his prime. The Bell injury was only part of the problem. Tomlin had NO PLAN B that year - NOTHING. Went to the streets to find a RB. More bad Tomlin planning.....

Agree on Tomlin. Bell's ACL was shredded in '15 by Burfict. Steelers got DeAngelo Williams in '15... but both Bell and Williams were out for playoffs. Steelers need another "DeAngelo" to back up Harris in '22. Snell, Ballage and McFarland ain't gonna cut it if Harris has to miss a few games.

So 2020 doesn't count??? 33 tds, and 10 ints. That Year only 6 Qbs had more ,and 3 of those had more ints. Only 8 players surpassed that this year, and all had way more ints , but 3 of them.

Is this in reference to @S.T.D and @Brandon556211 handling each others junk while slamming the hood of a car?

My god! What stroking is happening before or after that?!?!

I have my reservations about the "whole field" idea. If there is as much play action rollouts that I think will happen, that's half a field. I'm sure they won't ALL be but I get where you're going.

However, I've been dying for more PA for years. Ben has never been good with his back to the D.

What round you thinking for QB? I ask only to narrow down the likely candidates.
In short, who you like in this year's draft?

Or cap restrictions because they had no room? Was dri archer around that year? Yikes what a waste.
I think some of us overreach on Tomlin's control.

I am looking forward to the season. I have been watching since 1974 so I have seen the ups and downs. Even rebuilding can be exciting if you look at it the right way.

You're gonna be disappointed when they attempt to draft that franchise QB this year.

A new energy, perspective is needed IMO, it is not in the organization I have watched for so long
I want to enjoy Steeler football, but can't with what I see trotting out
and players and coaches not held accountable for poor performances.
