I'm going to say no, but my reasons are different:

Ben Tate came in last year and was barely used because he didn't know the system, which made us one dimensional.

Just use the RB's that have been here and know the system. Even if they aren't productive you can at least run the full offense.

When we first lost Bell to injury, some jackass called into a local Steelers talk show & said that Hershel Walker could still play & that we should bring him in. Of course the guys on the show kind of laughed it off but I'd rather bring him in than Rice.
