    Metcalf - 183 rec. 2,809 yards and 25 tds.

    DJ - 199 rec. 2,200 yards and 15 tds.

    Claypool - 91 rec. 1,300 yards and 10 tds.

Metcalf has as many TDs as DJ and Claypool combined for careers. Like it's not even a debate.

There are so many differences between the two it's pointless to even compare them. Wilson vs. Ben. Not dealing with Randy Richtner's "scheme". Pete Carroll. Etc.

But to say we should've traded up for Metcalf is ridiculous. WR was not a pressing need when they drafted Bush.

Yes, you can certainly hindsight not trading two additional picks to get him. Trading up that much for an off-ball LB to fill a hole is just not smart. He'd better be the next Ray Lewis if you do that.

*I* have a better chance of being WR1 than Ray Ray. And I'm old, fat and slow.

But seriously, if Ray Ray is ever WR1, we. are. toast.

The guy needs two first names. There's no way he could be number one at anything.

JU JU had to add a last name to get his shot.

Metcalf has also played in 8 more games. Pound for pound production wise, they are about the same WR.

Also, Metcalf may already be on his way to being a nut case.

Now you lost me Benny. No Steeler fan would ever think Ray Ray is capable of being a #1 receiver. He should not be a return guy. Has to be someone better.

Steelers may not be the best organization in sports but they are a very solid one and regardless what the brass say at press conferences they have to know Mason is not the answer for next season. Mason to Ray Ray as our biggest O threat = 3-14 (those 3 wins thanks to Boz)

Lest you all think that Ray Ray could never be a number 1 receiver, I hope you all realize that Pittsburgh is the world leader in transplants. All they need to do is find a suitable pair of hands and graft them on to Ray Ray.

As it is, I see him as a Number 2 receiver. At least he plays like number 2.

They justify it because we got Metcalf-lite
