Some might find this kinda boring but I thought this was phenomenal. Somebody with a movie camera and field access capturing moments from Rocky Bleier's final home game.

A nice walk down memory lane seeing the transition from the dynasty players to the 80s guys like Frank Pollard, Greg Hawthorne, and Theo Bell.

 

That's very cool. I amazed at how spoiled I've become with HD tv.

Eddie, I don't know how to say this but I will try. I can't believe you would go and dig up something so grainy, colorless, hard to see and so utterly AMAZING as this video. It brings back some of the fondest memories I have. Thank you so much for posting it!

That was excellent. Brings back lots of memories from TRS. That place absolutely rocked! The entire stadium would shake at times.

 

Well, it'd be cool if I pulled out an old box full of Super 8 film and uncovered it but, quite simply, Rocky Bleier posted it on his Facebook page : )

 

Yeah my wife thinks it's stupid when I complain about tv's that aren't hd. LOL!

 

So cool! It's funny how a lot of the jerseys that were on the field that day are now in the stands for pretty much every game we play now. I loved watching Bradshaw warming up with the guys. That kind of stuff is extremely cool to me. I wish I had been old enough to watch that team live. I suppose I'd take the arthritis and old people spots that would come with being old enough to have really experienced that team. LOL!

 

"Old people spots"? Don't worry, you'll experience them soon enough!

 

It's because Noll could only win with Bill Austin's players.

Funny stuff (made me laugh out loud) but we all know Noll famously cleaned house: "It's not for lack of effort, you guys just aren't good. Most of you won't be here next year."

#1, Rocky`s last game... for you younginz, that don`t know him, look up his history...

He left the team to fight for his country, and came back from a severe injury over there, to play for us again.. Hell of a story...

#2... We are so used to seeing everything recorded, real time, and high quality, on everybody`s I-phones, or smartphones..

This is a piece of history, that was recorded, before all that...

VERY COOL!!!

#3, 3 Rivers Stadium, Rocking in all it`s glory, with the die hard fans, there to cheer on their team..

#4, One of the last times you can see all of those teammates together on the field...

#5, Appreciate the sound of the wind whipping around, and the cheers of the fans, that the newer recording devices(phones), would screen out, to give you a "better" recording...
