The Ravens announce they’re terminating Earl Thomas’ contract “for personal conduct that has adversely affected” the team

He's a knucklehead, he released video of their practice on Instagram then deleted it, they got tired of his crap.

There was apparently a string of issues, late to meetings, not taking directions from coaching staff, rows with teammates and just generally being a pain to work with. Not forgetting the crazy incident with his wife. This latest issue just seems to be the last straw for the team.

This hurts the Ravens, they don’t have a proven free safety waiting in the wings to replace him. They are loaded everywhere else though, so I think they can overcome it.

For Thomas, can’t think of too many teams that would want to take him on with all that baggage now and the cap uncertainty will also go against him. He would solve issues in both Atlanta or Dallas but who knows where he ends up

I think he did this on purpose to go to Dallas. Dallas just made cap room too coincidentally

Not sure what his plan was but it seems talent doesn’t make you immune

I had him pegged right. Remember a debate here about people wanting him. No thanks.

this is just the type of situation that the raiders would typically pounce on
