Raven's Zach Orr retiring

Due to injury he suffered this year. Cracked Bones. I feel bad for the guy. You spend your whole life reaching for the NFL, and then an injury can make it all go in a flash. Good on him though knowing when to walk away.

This throws a monkey wrench into Ozzie Newsome's draft strategy then.



Baltimore has always favored going with two top flight interior linebackers. That being said, look for Zach Cunningham's stock to rise.




Getting back on topic, feel bad for him. Would have been nice to see how well he was going to pair up with Mosley for the foreseeable future. Now it is all hypothetical.

 

I remember a few years ago when Glenn Coffee had to do the same thing. Health is not something you can just turn on and off and I can't stand the rats or the horse they rode in on but still it's lame that a dude's dream has to end so abruptly.

 

Didn't Glen Coffee retire due to some new direction in his life involving religion?

Fun fact. Chris Henry was on my fantasy team when he died. Aaron Hernandez was on my fantasy team when he committed murder. Coffee, Boland and Orr were on my fantasy team when they all suddenly retired. My fantasy team is a career ender

Why? Flacco isn't that spectacular. He should draft Brady.
