I hope they beat the Dolphins so when I go to the game against the Colts it will make it a little more fun to watch.

No not the best for sure but he did go into Seattle and lead his team to victory in one of the toughest places to play. The same team that a lot of people said how good they were and there was no shame losing to them at home. So Seattle is really good and Jackson stinks, so how does that happen? He is a phenomenal runner and has improved his passing by leaps and bounds.

What Jackson's fans have to understand is that his success isn't going to last long. There is no way he is going to have a long career running the football 15-20 times a game.

He’s definitely not gonna last at that pace. The thing is if you look at his development from last year to this year it’s a significant improvement. You would think with gaining experience he will become better in the pocket. He has all the gifts to be a good one. It’s up to how he progresses and how they protect him. He can make all the throws.

Did anyone really think we had a chance to win the division? WC is our only shot and even if that happens we will go out in typical Tomlin style. 1 and done.

We just need to take care of our opponent every week and not worry about what everyone else is doing.

Injuries ruin seasons. I'll still be watching but it will be with zero anxiety.

Sorry 9-20 and 14something yards is not very good and when you play a good defense his legs won't save him just like last year vs the Chargers. JMO I am not saying he is bad cause he is taking what he is given and his receivers did him no favors yesterday(andrews) with a ton of wide open drops but there were plenty of ducks as well. I think Dan Patrick hit on this on his show this morning......

He’s had some outstanding games as well. He’s 5-2 . Lead them to victory in a tough place to play for any QB. For now his legs are saving him. Will it last? No. He’s still very young and has tremendous upside. I’m not saying you but the same people who are discrediting what he did yesterday are the same people that are excusing our loss to a good 5-1 Seattle team .

The thing is though he avoids contact. He literally slides and gets down at just the sight of contact. He isnt taking unnecessary risks like vick did or like cam did.

Last year vs the chargers he wasnt a threat to pass. Now he's a threat to pass. Hes did a full 360 in terms of his pocket presence and passing. And the seattle defense is pretty good.

I think they have to at least try to get to 10 wins to have any legit shot at playoffs.
Possibly 9 wins, but that may not be a shoe in.
Anything outside of that will have to benefit them with a lot of help.

Would have to make an 8-2 run the rest of the way.
Good way to get 8 wins would be to win every single home game remaining that would get you 5.
Then you got to sneak in 3 more road wins.
    Tall task for the Steelers.

If the defense keeps playing at the level of the last 6 weeks, and the offense starts to show signs of life.
    They could do it.

Of the remaining 10 games, I don't see one team we can't play with. Steelers had a lot of the hard teams of this season the 1st six weeks.

Personally I don't think they get to 10 wins, I would be shocked if they do. But, I think they can be an 8-8 team.

Peters is not an elite cornerback. He is unfocused and erratic, making big plays one game and doing an Artie Burns imitation the next.

10 wins and they absolutely, positively make the playoffs. Problem is they need to go 8-2 to get to 10 wins. And they're 4-8 their last 12, most with Ben, many with Ben and AB. Two of those vs lousy Cincy teams, at home. Ok, the D is better, but is that enough? Methinks not.

8-8 very likely means no playoffs. 8-8 probably means a lose at Balt, so that basically kills the Division. Balts's win over Sea probably means 9 wins for them. Buff probably gets 9 wins. Houston and Indy too. So the WC looks out too.

9-7requires a 7-3 finish. That's not impossible but not easy. Let's say they lose at Cle and Bal, and win at Cincy, vs Cle, at NYJ and Miami. That's 6-6. 9-7 requires a winning 3 of 4 vs Rams, Buf, Ind and at AZ, or stealing one of away games vs Cle OT Bal. They'll need to play better than they've shown for much of the last yr. But if they get to 9-7, beating Buff and or Indy, they could snatch a WC, and maybe even the div if they can catch Balt on tiebreaks.

First, there is way too much football left to talk about seeding.

Second, we just need to start playing winning football. Everything else will take care of itself.

Third, the Ravens suddenly started looking scary. Jackson will make more than the Seahawks look bad this year. And confidence is something the Ravens don't need to get ahold of right now.

I hope you are right, but they mentioned a stat this weekend that he has more int.’s than anyone since coming into the league in 2015.

So glad you brought up their record in the last 12. Too many people want to be fooled into thinking that this team is only struggling because of Ben being gone. There are other issues as well. Yes the D is playing better but if you go back and look at the games you will see they have struggled plenty as well. The sacks and TOs are great but we’ve been at or near the top in sacks the past few years. Where has that gotten us? Where are the crucial stops when needed? I guess if you want to wipe the slate clean every week and make excuses for our coordinators, everything looks fine. Butlers failures are well documented. They go back a few years but let’s just forget about that because the defense has some sacks and TOs. Wake me up when we shut down a good team in a big spot or when we’re not so predictable and vulnerable in the middle of the field.

Fichtner? Plenty of room for improvement. What were his credentials before becoming OC? That’s right Ben’s QB coach is the reason he has the job. Ben likes him. Sure make excuses for him because he lost Ben. Was he only decent because of Ben? He needs to prove he is the right guy for the team and not just for Ben. So far the results are underwhelming and like you mentioned 4-12 many of them with Ben/AB. So far 2-3 without. Wildcat against Balt? Nothing else needs to be said about that. Like I’ve said if your HC isn’t going to be that X and O guy the coordinators need to be. I haven’t seen anything the past few years or recently that gives me confidence they are.

That's not what the Eagles thought when their QB went down and all the other injuries they had. Their coach made adjustments to win it all.
