Raven's Fans Paranoia in Full Bloom

Rumor has it the Steelers are breaking out the mustard helmets and turd brown throwback jerseys for SNF.

Guess we will be wearing white jersey/black pants.

Every time the Steelers wear those god-awful uni's I am reminded of the night that Corey Ivy couldn't find his jock between the opening kickoff and halftime.

Man, I hate those uni's! Wonder if the Steelers will wheel out the Steel Curtain geezers at halftime again?


Hey, if they want to look like idiots, that's up to them...let's just hope the Ravens beat their asses in those ugly ass uniforms...

FO using uni's to pump up the fans and players, as if they need to do it for a Ravens-Steelers matchup.... lame

yes, there's a marketing aspect.

However, the Steelers organization has a trump card that they love to play on the Ravens organization: history.

Their organization is how old? 70yrs?

The Ravens have 15yrs of existence.

So they do this, not just for the money (though that has a lot to do with it), but to provide this distinction between the clubs, between the owners:

1) that team is a carpet-bagger team, they're really the relocated-Browns;

2)we have a history they could only hope to aspire to;

3) we are the standard bearers of tradition, they are johnny-come-latelys.

They do it on purpose and the Ravens will one day return the favor as they continue to build an impressive history of their own.

 

You should never ever under estimate the power of the "Geezers"
