    There's nothing more heart wrenching than playing a good game only to have your special teams blow the game for you. As Steelers fans, I'm sure most of us know what that feels like

    Same thing happens to us - we get BS PI calls (I recall a few totally bogus ones this year) and refs miss penalties against the other teams too. Fact is our Defense typicall only gives up 1-2 first downs and forces a punt (or a FG if our O give them good field position).

    Ray lewis cannot cover anymore. He really has lost a step. Probably best for his career that he's retiring.

    Seattle gave up 15.3 pts per game that's the defense I want. Denver scored 30.1 points per game. That's the offense I want.

    The Steelers were 6th in PPG with 19.3, pretty darn good.
    Also they were 5th in the league in getting off of he field on 3rd down at 35%.

    True, and that was my point. If you're wishing for a better defense take the one that gave up the least points. Our defense was not the problem this year. Or any of the last few years. Offense needs to score more points.

    Poorly officiated game in which almost every break has gone to the Ravens. In fact, all of Baltimore's points have come right after bad calls or noncalls.

    Poor officiating, but the great Manning has looked pathetic too. Yeah, he's had a couple plays, but I've been less than impressed with his performance.
