I'll give it a B+. It really opened up the possibilities of the draft. Lack of splash guys prevents it from being an A, but got quality G starters and depth across the board.

Like I said before. I give it a low B, but could be a B+....PP....has Me at a mixture of worried, and excited. LoL I can't stop thinking of the PEDs, and how when most older players get caught with them.....they are not long for the league.

I think our window really opens next season, so these moves are lining things up nicely.

Six starters and adding to the foundation B+

Khan and Weidl are looking like a solid team.

That’s fair. If they could pull some wizardry and a rabbit out of a hat and get a 5th and/or 6th round pick (or better) with a trade of Dotson, Witherspoon, Tribisky, or (dare I say it again) Diante Johnson then I would be ecstatic about our draft and team bump and really be excited about the future.

Right now I am tempering my emotions.

Cannot wait for this draft and really hoping I’m not going to end up apprehensive.

The fact that we are talking about FA and the Steelers is an A + in my mind. I am excited to see them make some good moves and help the team.

Normally they wait until the "Frenzy" dies down and pick up 1 or 2 bench players.

Based on the moves they made I would say a solid B. Very excited to see how the draft transpires.

They couldn’t be very active in our recent past because they had a franchise QB on the books absorbing a ton of cap payroll. And again, it wasn’t long ago that the roster was in pretty good shape with starters on both sides.

Now we have rookie contracts at starting QB, LT, RB, TE, and WR.

It stands to reason (my reasoning and not exactly to some others) that they should have had a more (much more?) sizable bankroll to shop with by signing our own valued FA’s and others, (better others) out there in the market.

This team clearly had far more holes than what we are used to at starters and depth. We lost more players than we’ve gained; granted it’s not by that much. We couldn’t afford to retain a pretty moderate price for Sutton and it seems the only way to keep Highsmith is to unfavorably kick the cap can a bit into the future by restructuring TJ’s large contract.

I personally feel like there has been some mismanagement with funds. Why they are so up against things with so many normally high paid positions on rookie deals baffles me. AND(!) such an incomplete roster.

Not seeing how you see an B after a 9-8 season and only possibly upgraded a weak ILB unit and a decent positive bump on a previously mediocre O-line.

DB same and quite possibly worse.
    DL same and mediocre.
    Safety probably a little worse
    WR worse by a little
    TE are the same
    RB same
    QB same

We were 9-8, 3rd in the division, missed the playoffs.

I wish I felt the same.
