Random thoughts on the loss to the Patriots

We've not played anybody. Today we did and we got exposed for what we are. It's like Kennedy said "Some see the things that are and ask why. I see the things that are not and ask why not?" Why are we not getting up on wide outs and trying to jam them when they have the greatest qb on the planet throwing them the football? Why are we not hitting our gaps and stopping the run like we used to? I don't think it's an honest evaluation of a team when you look at their numbers against crummy teams. I think it's more accurate to look at them against good teams. Ironically though the Pats haven't looked THIS good all season. Why do you think that is? Everyone acts like the Pats always have a good record because they play sub par teams multiple times in a season but shouldn't that be the case for evaluating us as well? You know I've dogged on this d for a long time and today is a prime example of why. I think we saw a preview of when we play the Packers today honestly. What do you expect in that game?
