    Apparently:

I was kind of under the impression police dogs were trained to deal with far worse taunting than that?

Must have been when the dog peed on Ray Ray's leg that set him off. Many of us would have done the same given half a chance and enough IC's. :bscow:

I wonder if anybody will interview Mike Vick about what he defines as "dog taunting."

The woman handling the dog should have accidently dropped the leash and then we would see how tough this Raider punk is when the dog takes his a$$ apart In about two minutes. Real easy to taunt an animal when it is confined and can't get to you. Those same people usually are chicken sh$t when the animal is free to tear you up. Typical Oakland idiot.

I would expect that from a drunken fan but a player?

Hey Ray Ray, be glad she didn't listen to you, he would have ripped you apart, dumb ass.

Seems strange that the dog would react since K9 units are typically very well trained. If it was going nuts maybe they should have checked his personage for illegal substances.

They are also trained to protect their handlers. Those dogs are no joke, he would have killed that idiot.

She should have let him off the leash and see how much taunting he does then.

I saw this tonight, and I've seen this done many times before as I'm around these dogs often. Personally, I get it, but if it's me, I would just let it go, and not make it a huge issue.

Man it's a REALLY big deal to mess with a K9 dog. They are actually considered police in this country. They get police funerals in this country and everything. If you do something to hurt one of them or something like that you will be going away for a long time.

Given if you are a big dude you can knock out most dogs and out power them so I see his confidence. Thing is these dogs are trained for combat and as soon as you swing your arm it will rip the flesh off instantly. I've seen it, not your normal house pet.

Yep. But besides that though, his handler is obviously a cop, amazes me how little respect people have for authority.

There was a d-bag here a few years ago that was running from the cops and stopped on the SD_Coronado bridge. a K9 was released and this guy grabbed the dog and jumped off the bridge. He survived. The dog didn't. D-bag was charged with murdering a police officer, among other things.

Sick bast ards .. We had a case here where a police dog was stabbed and the dog died. Since then the laws are tougher but not quite tough enough. I think there should be laws for animals of all kinds where harsh penalties are sanctioned against people that would harm them.

just looked it up. Killing a police dog is not as bad as killing a cop, but you do get serious jail time.
