The rams did it a bit differently, but have been trading picks for a few years and got that ring. But look how close it was throughout the POs. All anyone cates about or will remember is SB champion, but yes that window is very narrow indeed.

And in a year, or 2 will be the worst team in the division for years.
I like winning SBs without having 2 watch My team be the worst team in the league in between. Of course....that's just Me.

I think Seatle now becomes the #1 landing spot for Jimmy Garoppolo.

I think Denver gave up too much. As others have said, he isn't a big guy, and has taken a pretty good beating throughout his career. Getting Wilson guarantees nothing for Denver. Wislon may very well struggle when the weather turns inclement at home.

I'm not so sure 49ers get rid of Jimmy G just yet.

I don't think they care, they won their Super Bowl, their GM wore a t shirt at the parade that said eff those draft picks .

I don’t think San Fran will trade him in the division. IF they do, then we should be thrilled to miss out on him.

I'm cool with it for them. Not for Me. I personally don't like 2 be one of the worst teams in the league for one SB. I tend 2 think the long game, but like I said....cool for them

All your eggs in one basket. For example 90million for an outside LB that always has a nagging injury or on the sideline because he is tired during a key drive. I agree that would not be smart

I did... but what did you see that in missing?

Didn't we know all this information?

I feel it was always going to come to this. But I'm not always the brightest bulb.. what am I missing?

Well the criminal cases. I thought they are all civil cases, but that talked of criminal, and civil cases.

Gotcha... no I've known about the criminal cases for a long time. I believe this procedure is for the prosecuter to decide if to proceed with actual court case? Again not positive but they have been talking about getting to this point for awhile..

They said they wanted this to happen first so that he can speak in the civil cases and not worry about any of that being used in the criminal... which is why he will plead the 5th in the civil until the criminal is settled

and what draft picks and players is it costing us to retain the best defensive player in the league who's still only 27? none. i don't agree with that argument. plenty of great teams over the years have had both a franchise QB and highly paid superstar defender. we've had high paid superstar defenders over the years, in addition to Ben's contract.

How is Wilson on the decline? The year before last he threw 40 tds and had his highest completion percentage of his career. It's clear last yr he didn't really want to be there( almost got traded to the bears) and he injured his finger and missed time. And still had 26 tds to only 5 picks. He's far from on the decline.

Doubt it. Stafford will be around for another 4-5 years. Donald probably another 2. Ramsey is around for a while. Kupp is. And their always going to be a FA destination due to the winning culture and being in LA. They'll be fine.

Funny. I don't remember him winning DPOY for 2021. That's right. He didn't.

But hey, he stepped up against one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL in the Super Bowl, so that wipes out the entire season, right?

In all seriousness, Donald is amazing. He's a Hall of Famer. This season, however, Watt was the best defensive player in the NFL.

    Agree, Agree Agree.

Those people saying Lock is going to be Seattle's starting QB probably have never seen him play.

Another reason I liked this trade was that it kept them out of the Aaron Rodgers disaster area.

For a weak franchise. Like the Rams that move city 2 city every 16 years.

So you think that's what determines who's the best player? So why isn't Rodgers widely regarded as the best player in the NFL? Why isn't Peyton manning the best qb ever?
