Is Watson going to play this year? Next year? Ever?

Watson is 26. Wilson is 33. You may want to take that into account.

Russell is a 9 time pro bowl qb with 2 super bowls a ring

Watson has 20 lawsuits has not played in a year, and might not be playing this year.. or theoretically ever again (I'm confidebt he will)

At best you could give a one and maybe a conditional that could be a 1 if you win a ring

Compensation is vague. Multiple 1st rd picks and other picks and Drew Locke and other players. Massive haul.

I wouldn't trade for Watson right now unless he came at a severe discount. I might think about a first-rounder and Rudolph. Maybe. The risk of him either missing significant time or even never playing again is just too high. That doesn't mean Watson isn't worth more than that. It means I don't think the Steelers should roll those particular dice.

My point was that your analysis left off a huge factor in determining the relative value of Wilson and Watson. The latter is seven years younger. That's a big difference in his favor.

Denver had the picks this year.

They received a 2nd and 3rd round pick from the Rams for "Lending" Von Miller to them for the 2nd half of the Season. Don't be surprised if you see Von Miller back in Denver to start the 2022 season.

i wouldn't want watson or wilson, not for what it would take to get them. mortgage your future for wilson, who is on the decline and hasn't looked himself in a couple seasons now. he's not a big guy and has taken a lot of punishment over the years. no thanks.

watson, with all his baggage, and probably even more draft capital to secure his services. NO! find a QB in the draft and build around him using draft picks and free agents. i hate the idea of putting all your eggs in one basket

Does Russell Wilson put the Broncos ahead of the Chiefs or Chargers today?

I think this is a great move today for Denver, considering the Trade package for Rodgers would have been about the same.

    Wilson 33
Rodgers 38, and signed a 4 year $200 million contract to stay in Green Bay

Wow, this sucks. Wish he stayed in the NFC at least.

    AFC is stacked.

    Buffalo
    KC
    Denver
    Cincy
    Ravens
    Chargers

    Steelers - Mason Rudolph.

If the Steelers want to ever win a SB again, better draft Willis.

If they win a SB with Wilson, which imo they are an immediate contender, I guarantee they'll think it was worth it.

Considering odds dictate you should only average 1 SB win every 32 years, if they win one in the next 4 years with Wilson then that's 4 in 25 years. Two in the last 10. If you're any team other than New England, you gotta be happy with that. :dontknow:

Hey big guy, Who do you think Seattle is going to draft at #9 with their bright, new shiny pick?

I mean wilson went for that. They are pretty comparable. It costs to get a franchise qb.

Great deal for the Broncos. I am really not sure why people feel like they gave up to much.

Drew Lock is never going to be anything other than a backup in this league. Broncos should be happy the Seahawks wanted him.

Noah Fant is a recent 1st round pick at TE. But the Broncos like Albert Okwuegbunam just as much, making Fant expendable.

Shelby Harris is a decent DL coming of a good year.

They only had to give up two 1st rounders which is less than the three many were suggesting.

They did have to give up the two 2nds, but they get a 4th back in return for a 5th.

None of those picks or players make Denver a Super Bowl Contender. Having Russell Wilson does. The Broncos hit a home run here.

I don't think so. It definitely makes them closer, but is it enough, and the other teams didn't trade away all those players, or picks this year.

Poor Denver. The icing on the cake would be Kanye and AB buying the team

Are we talking about the same team? If they let Fant go in this trade they have 2 speedy receivers and pretty much nothing else. On defense they have a lot of separate pieces that must be welded together by a new coaching regime. I mean honestly they are in the same row boat with the Steelers only now they over paid for a QB
