Funny, George was like Wine, he seemed to get better with age.

The older George seemed to be a much happier person, than the serious George I watched in clips. Someone that found God in his life and embraced his faith.

I like many other fans enjoyed the movie Big George Foreman, even though the critics hated it for being religious.

Loved the man. So many great memories, but 2 of my favorites, named all of his sons George (I believe 1-6). Said it was easier remembering his own name and he was a good counter, lol. Older he was asked how does he prepare for a fight. I get in the ring and see the guy as someone stopping me from a cheeseburger, and I do love my cheesburgers,

George was my favorite boxer of all time. One of the most powerful punchers the sport ever had.

Grew up down the road from me. Tiny little house. His dad was a mean drunk, lot of beatings in that house.

Town hero, we were rooting hard for him to beat Holmes. Freaking low blows, we were like wtf is he doing.

A buddy of mine had a small one

My wife asked him what if he had a date

He said “well she’ll have to wait”

And that confirms why he is still single

RIP Actor Richard Chamberlain. Thorn Birds, Shogun.

I remember him very well because he was Dr. Kildare. My three older sisters would make me hold the antenna with foil wrapped around it for most the show so they could swoon over him. Him and Little Joe ruined my golf game because my arm never recovered holding that damn antenna;)

    Val Kilmer, 65.

It's sad how his health failed him like it did, at a relatively young age.

He played so many iconic roles in some great movies. And he should have won an Oscar for playing Doc Holiday.

RIP Val Kilmer. Only 65. I'd have never said only 65 in my twenties but now it's to young.

Keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel, Val.

Val Kilmer was a tremendous actor. He stole the show in Tombstone. That scene in the bar when he spun his drinking mugs as if they were six shooters. PRICELESS!!

Yes that was indeed a classic scene. As I've mentioned a few times in various threads, I was fortunate enough to meet Johnny Ringo (Michael Biehn) on a Snake River Rafting trip in the late 90's and when he was asked what it was like working with Val Kilmer (known for being a bit difficult), Ringo paused and just said, "It was interesting". RIP Iceman. Well done. :applaud:
