It couldn't have happened to a better team... Unless it was the Patricheats. And they'll get theirs someday. Oh, I can't wait until they get theirs.

These are also my 2 most hated teams, With Patriots being the most hated. As Peazy and other Steelers players have said. The Patriots have
stole championships from us.I am all for the asterik beside their Championship seasons.

Ozzie Newsome gets all the praise for being a great GM, as of today the Ravens would have the first pick in the 2016 draft . Their best WR is 36 year old Steve Smith, didn't want to pay their best deep threat Torrey Smith now with the 49ers. Remember the uproar from Steelers fans during the draft the Ravens stole Maxx Williams, he's not doing anything their best TE is Gilmore.

Maxx Williams has been solid this year according to this. He has 12 catches for 108 yards with limited action so far this year due to injuries. He does what he is asked to do and is solid doing it including run blocking and pass protection.

P.s I am new to this site. I am a fan of both teams despite the rivalry.

I don't remember Maxx doing anything in that game, Crockett Gilmore is their best TE. Spaeth is on the team for his blocking not his pass receiving.

Rookie TE's don't produce in the NFL. It simply doesn't happen. Take a look at Gronk's rookie numbers. Or Jimmy Graham. Or Eifert. Or Olsen. The list goes on. Maxx Williams may or may not pan out, but the guy is a rookie at a position that doesn't get early production. Give him time.

And I think Newsome is a great GM and so do most people around the NFL.

On another note, Steve Smith tore his achiles today. Sad way for a career to end. I always respected the way he played the game

The Ravens problems mirror the Steelers problems in a lot of ways. Big money QB, exits of once great players and dead cap money causing them to have to rely on draft picks and mediocre free-agent vet signings. The 'rob Peter to pay Paul' strategy of keeping a winning team together works for a while but eventually the bills come due and you end up with a team consisting of a few stars and a bunch of average players.

I can't stand Tom Brady but his restructured contract that freed up $24 million for the Pats helped ensure that what happened to the Ravens and Steelers with the cap didn't happen to the them.

Flacco and Forsett done for season, any hope they would give the Bengals trouble is officially over.

I've got to give Flacco credit for finishing that game on a torn knee.
