Question for you local yinzers

I personally wouldn’t go just because you’re not going to get close to the normal bang for your buck. I looked a couple weeks ago for the Bengals game and the cheapest tickets were $450 each. It wouldn’t surprise me if they go back to no fans with the way Covid numbers are rising.

 

Lol there’s a place around the corner from me that’s opposite. It’s a restaurant, everybody in there drinks booze, nobody eats a thing. Not a mask in sight. I won’t say the name of the place lol.

 

This is true and although I live in Ohio, my family is all still in Pa. and I am headed to Pa. for a two week hunting trip in a couple days.

I reached out to a couple state cop friends and local cop friends and they all said the same thing. The political mandates are not enforceable and nobody can give you any grief beyond opinion if you go.

Obviously be smart, try to observe local rules, and know that life will be a little different than previous years.

 

I've been considering going to the Bengals game on the 21st. There are tickets now below $100. If they are still letting fans attend, we very likely will go. My brother-in-law, who is a Bengals fan, said he got tickets a few weeks ago for $20, so I need to ask him where he's getting those. I'm not sure if he used a scalper at the door or what.

 

Yeah, but that game is in Cincinnati. I was talking about home games. The game against the Ravens, cheapest set of 2 tickets are $479 each and 4 tickets are $359 each. There is a presale today @ 9:oo am for the remaining home games.

 

Kind of shocked when I hear how different it is from State to State. My son lives in LA. and he rarely has to wear a mask and kids go to school just like always.

 

Allegheny county, where the stadium is, has pretty well said: “If you aren’t going to get food at the grocery store, you shouldn’t be outside”. And it’s just getting worse. I recommend tabling this idea, save the money, coming twice next year.

It sucks here man. Wolf our governor is so strict with regulations on Covid.

The new one is at my YMCA I now have to wear a mask even while working out at all times.

Helps the breathing extremely well. I get that gyms are bad but its insane.

Just to work out I get temperature checked, get my own bottle of sanitizing spray, my own rag to wipe things down before and after use, now have to wear a mask at times, not just when coming in and leaving.

I'd save your money for a trip down the road. I forfeited my tickets this season, and got credited to 2021. Kills me with the great season we have been having thus far.

You can still go out to eat and things, but have to wear masks etc. But with Wolf, things can change at a moments notice, hate to see you spend a ton of money then it get worse with more regulations etc.

 

Yeah it’s just to worth it right now.

 

I think Governor Wolf just decided for you after Thursday's game Steelers are only allowed to have 2,500 at the Stadium period that includes players, staff, etc.

 

I live locally, it is pretty strict and clamping down harder due to the surge.
Don't waste your money, come out next year and have fun.

 

So the last 15 years were your fault. First time you stay away and we're undefeated. Not surprised. Even the Steelers are happier without you around.

I went away and this board when to hell. Back by popular demand, because you needed me, if nothing else but to keep your vast delusions in check. It's also fun to see that you're the only person bringing up that I was away. Creepy, but fun, nonetheless. Your obsession with me has been documented. And you not only know that I was away, but exactly how long I was gone. Why not just admit that you were freaked out when you had to reconcile that the object of your desire might not be coming back. Did you put X's on your "Days without Glory" calendar?
