Question about todays inactives

    What was the purpose of signing Gilreath and Tammu to the roster only to make them inactive?

    So that they are locked into contracts with the Steelers so nobody else can sign them away from the PS or to futures contracts. Same with all the others they just signed.

    I really hope Tomlin plays some of the other guys today. I want to see what they can do. Obviously they're still playing to win, but I wouldn't mind seeing some of the guys we haven't seen much of yet. Throw Plax and Cotchery out there and lets see what a possession style offence can do with bigger receivers. Throw Mendy out there for 25 carries and lets see what we have in him before we simply cut him loose. Sit Keisel on the bench and give Heyward the entire game to show what he has. Give McClendon and Taamu most of the snaps.

    That's what I would love to see.
