Question about coaching staff make-up

I don't know much about NFL coaching staffs, but are there "situational specialists". I am thinking something like a red zone guru or a time management wizard. There are coordinators, squad, and position coaches, but it would sure seem like the Steelers need some expert consultation in a couple of weak areas - red zone scoring on offense, 3rd down and long on defense, and clock management overall. You would think for multimillion dollar corporations, if there was an area that was a shortcoming, there would be consultants that could be hired to address these areas.

I am sure all that is part of the coordinator's and HC's job, but we could use some expert help next year, and I wondered if such "specialists" existed.
