With the season a quarter way through what would you say are your 3 biggest surprises and 3 things you knew from the beginning.

    My 3 biggest surprises:

The Buffalo Bills look for real.
The NY Jets are tied with the NE Ratriots (and I'm loving it!!!!)
The NY Giants, who I had as division winner are 0-4

    My 3 "of course" moments:

    The 49ers stink
The Cleveland Browns are the Cleveland browns
The Chargers are having as much trouble as I thought

    Three biggest surprises?

    - Thought Miami would look better with the improvement of Tunsil and Ajayi. Missed the mark there.

    - Malik Hooker is developing far faster than I thought. NFL's leader in takeaways with three. Him, Wilson and Basham all will be something to watch in the coming years.

    - Jared Goff, Cooper Kupp and Todd Gurley all are getting it done in Los Angeles. Nevermind leading the league in points per game but the way they are doing it.

    Three known facts?

    - Kansas City's record. Most would have not expected them to go into Foxboro and beat a Brady led team. I did but not in the manner in which they did.

    - DeShaun Watson is the real deal for Houston. Much like the New York Jets of 2010, this team can go into the playoffs to generate some serious noise.

-Artie Burns' development into one of the best cover corners in the league today. According to PFF, he is behind "The Next One" in Jalen Ramsey and Patrick Peterson in yards against per pass. More time may unlock an elite caliber cornerback the likes many of us have not seen since Mel Blount.

    Good discussion thread.

    Surprises:
    1. The Rams are the #1 scoring offense, and just won in Dallas
    2. The Patriots still haven't figured out how to stop anybody - after having the #1 scoring defense last year
    3. Agree with Giants at 0-4, though I didn't have them winning the decision (I liked Washington)

    Of Course Moments:
    1. Bengals are 1-3. Yes they beat up Cleveland, but the dysfunction will be back soon.
    2. The "LA" Chargers would draw high school game-sized crowds. Can't wait to see their "home" crowd vs. the Raiders. What an obviously DUMB decision to move.
    3. Parity would lead to week by week surprises. There are a LOT of teams that have legit postseason hopes, and the final quarter of the season could be the best we've seen in a long time (at least in the NFC and the AFC West).
