QB Ranking You Can Respect

Ok, I'll fess up and admit I did laugh....

 

This sounds good, but I prefer a more updated ranking that focuses on the past two seasons if play, and factor injury issues. A player that missed 4 games or more usually isn't as good as the next year back.

A what have you done for me lately type of ranking using the past 2 years as the judge.

Who cares what so and so did in 2023? My tiers which I have spent a lot of time making would look like this.


Tier 1

Allen
Stafford
Love
Darnold
Maye


Tier 2

Mahomes ( Injury issues ). Has the best history
Herbert - Needs to win a playoff game to be tier 1
Prescott - He is very good, but not quite tier 1
Burrow ( injury issues ) When he is healthy he is tier 1 historically.
Jackson ( Injury issues and he can run like he used to ). I think he is in decline.
Purdy ( injury issues )
Mayfield. A solid guy, not special.
Goff - He is sold, not special.


Players who can rate higher with 1 more season of good play, but for now are in tier 2:

Williams, Nix, and Jones.

 

Same was said about a Qb very similar to him called Cam Newton, and then bam he was beyond bad.

Although one has actually made, and won a SB

 

Seems to me more like splitting hairs once below the top 10. Can`t say the list is wrong, but not much difference in total QB value to the team between 11-19 IMO.
