    1. Tua Tagovailoa 4
    2. Mason Rudolph 3

Tua has played a full season.
Mason has played three games. Let me repeat that. Mason.has.played.three.games.

    WOW!!!

Like, we have to keep him, right? We won three must win games and actually look decent on offense.

He has some things to clean up, but he has much more upside IMHO than Pickett. KP doesn’t have the intangibles I think he should at this point. He’s just not comfortable in the pocket….and I’m not sure they will ever be able to fix that. He looks like a Freshman in college playing against UGA’s defense from last year.

not trying to downplay anything Mason has done, but sometimes those long plays are just luck. When Mason hit Pickens on that slant and Pickens took it 60+ yards to the house, that required luck. Mason still made the throw and Pickens still do what he had to do, but it's a lot of luck that Mason made that throw that ended up going 60+ yards.

Still, I want to see him continuing to start. I really like what I'm seeing so far.

Not totally luck though. You have to be looking for those receivers and get the ball to them. Kenny has not seemed to get past the point where he eyeballs receiver 1 until he throws or gets tackled. Also, under a 'Canada offense', with so many throws being to a sideline or behind the line of scrimmage, it was never going to happen.

I really do look forward to seeing 2024 Steelers team that builds an offense designed to get points rather than one that is designed to get into field goal range......

I’m quite sure that most of Tua’s 60+ passes were YACs by Tyreek Hill. It’s still impressive because the quarterback has to hit the receiver in stride giving them an opportunity for YAC. Rudolph put the ball exactly where it needed to be on both the GP and DJ TDs.

    This. 100%.
I said this multiple times when people were saying T. Hill should win MVP. If the Qb doesn't 1. Find him, and 2. Deliver a good pass ....He won't get those yards. I even brought up if He played with Trubisky, or KFP right now .....he wouldn't have half those yards. People forget....AB played 10 games in Pittsburgh without Ben, and didn't score one td in Pittsburgh without Ben playing at Qb

Can we stop bringing up Ben. He was a Franchise QB. Currently none what we have are. Ben is history alone with the Noll and Cowher teams. Let’s focus on what we have and move on.

Like I've been saying in my thread, side deserves to stay the starter even into next season.

Why can we not compare him to see where he registered with others who are actually legit good?

Ben’s name is coming up more often on the board lately and the reason for that is obvious. We haven’t seen this level of quarterback play since pre-washed up Ben and it’s fun. No one is saying that Mason is comparable to Ben, but he’s playing some great football right now. One of the plays last night that was Ben-esque was when the Rats OLB actually had ahold of Mason’s arm (his throwing arm I might add) and he still managed to complete the check down to Jaylen. Do you think Kenny or Mitch complete that pass? Mason’s just a bigger, stronger guy than those two. He’s not Ben, but he’s got some Ben-like qualities and comparable size.
