Pure Emotion

I usually try to be either cerebral or witty in my posts regarding the Steelers... but tonight, I'm just feeling pissed. As some of you may know from previous year's of posts, my wife and her family are all NE fans from Mass. I was bummed we didn't pull it out on opening night, but the Ravens... it's a whole different story... it's like my adult contempt translated from my youth contempt of the Cowgirls.

I don't care how it gets done. I don't care if it's ugly or pretty. I don't care if players get stats or the media is right or wrong in their opinions. I just want the Steelers to kick the mother-loving crap out of the Ravens tonight. I want them to show some serious grit, some serious conviction in winning, and a passion for beating the crap out of these Ratbirds.

I realize there's not much substance to what I'm saying, and this post won't likely provoke any intelligent debate around all the issues we are dealing with as Steeler's Nation fans, but I just want to see a win on both sides of the ball that shows this team has not lost the fire it needs to own this division... whether we win with a 9-7 record or a 15-1 record.

To me, it all starts with the heart to take a desperate 0-3 Ravens team and pummel them into submission.

Hope you all have a great ending week and hope it starts with physical beating of the Ravens.
