PS3 or XBox

That is a good point. I typically won't have enough time to beat even a 6hr game though in a matter of days. Not w/out losing way too much sleep anyway

I'll try to play some of the older games that I can score fairly cheap used. That said, I grabbed those 3 yesterday at GameStop and they have a 30 day return on the used games so if I were to down that MW2 I suppose I could return it.

On another side note, I am curious to see what Lego Batman looks like on this. It came with the bundle I got and I have that on PS2 that I play with my kids. Its actually a fun game with lots of things to do and figure out. I might have to get Lego Batman 2...wife isn't crazy about the boys seeing that stuff, but I don't know. We don't let them do it much. I ended up playing through the first one on my own to unlock everything.

 

Apparently the newest DC Lego game is the absolute bomb! You get to play as all the big 3 at DC I'm pretty sure.

 

Are you kidding me xbox has nothing that can come close to touching the uncharted series. Heavy rain was awesome as well. When it comes to exclusives ps3 wins goingg away. I have every system out there now xbox live is better if you want to pay for ps3 is a true media hub and that is what it was intended for. If ps3 didnt have a blu ray it would be the same price as the xbox.

 

There are 2 Uncharted games and 1 Heavy Rain. There are 3 Gears of Wars and and 3 Halos. One of the exclusives for ps3 that you didn't mention is God of War 3. Also I am a DIE HARD TO THE BONE AND TO MY LAST DYING BREATH FAN of Metal Gear as well. The SIX exclusives for 360 all have multiplayer and not just a campaign that you will play through a couple of times and be done with it. I know Uncharted 2 has multiplayer but I don't know if it has a big enough community to keep a game going all the time. As an EXPERIENCE Xbox Live is much better than PS3. The interface on PS3 is really clunky and not nearly as streamlined as 360. PS3 doesn't put as much focus in to the online experience. They don't even come with a headset. I could argue many more points but TOY HUNTER is on and as a huge dork that loves action figures I MUST watch it! Also he's in my hometown of Knoxville! SWEET!

How is part 3? I played the first Uncharted and just thought it was ok. I just felt like it was a clunkier version of Gears of War meets Tomb Raider. I know most people say that 2 is a million times better but I just never got the desire up to play it. Also I really wanna play Heavy Rain but I just spend so much time with my 360 and Multiplayer things that single player games have taken a huge backseat. What's funny is this time 10 years ago I was talking about how stupid it is to play games online and how single player games will always be the best. Now in this new generation single player is mostly just tacked on and the game is all about multi. But what I love is when you can play through the campaign with your friends. You can do that on all the Gears and Borderlands and Halo Reach but I'm not sure if you can play through Halo 2&3 campaign with friends. I'm not really a big Halo fan or even a big 1st person shooter fan really. Until recently I wouldn't even touch a 1st person shooter. I can tolerate them now but I still prefer 3rd person by a landslide.

 

Uncharted 3 was amazing.

 

Uncharted 3 is great heavy rain takes video games to a different level. Its sick and twisted and everything you do changes the story. The ending is always the same but if people die then you miss keythings and the controller set up is cool. It is a really twisted game though.

 

also for real special forces strategies socom is awesome though the last one didnt really impress me too much. I like socom because you cant really just run and gun. Also little big planet could be the funniest game ever made and heavenly sword 2 is on its way. The ps3 has a huge number of exclusives i was mad that they lost final fantasy though

 

Heavy Rain was just so unlike anything else I've ever played. There are many big reasons I'm glad I have a PS3, and Heavy Rain is just one of them, but it's such a great experience that I just can't imaging not having played it.

I just downloaded The Unfinished Swan, and although I haven't started it yet, I'm really looking forward to it, as it looks like it will turn out to be another amazing experience.

 

Let me know how it is. My xbox normally gets played by my kid. I have had the playstation since the day the psone camet and the other two within two weeks. I just cant get used to xbox controller. I didnt get the first xbox as i was a dead set ps fanboy. Gears of war made me get the 360 but i just hate the controller.
