Will Matt Canada even be in the Draft room this year? When the Steelers make that call to an Offensive tackle will it be Mike Tomlin and Pat Meyer welcoming them to the team this year?

I haven’t seen a person with as many “Conspiracy Theories” since Mel Gibson

Alice Sutton : Is this supposed to protect you from aliens or something?

Jerry Fletcher : No, no, it's just a beer bottle.

I imagine Canada would be there. However, as you stated, he has not had any input that we know of in terms of scouting. For that matter, he has been sighted ZERO times this entire Pro Day Circuit. Let that sink in... ZERO. TIMES.

Add in Glen Thomas?!.... someone's seat has gotten quite hot.

Maybe he is no longer considered part of the future of this team.

I would love to know who QB Clayton Tune meets with on his visit. If your OC is not meeting with a possible QB pickup then you know his time is up.

Well.. Canada's contract is set to expire in 2024. Glen Thomas to me is more than just being a mere "Offensive Assistant" than he is being Canada's replacement. He has both NFL and College Level experience Coordinating and did assist Matt Ryan during his historic 2017 NFL MVP Campaign. I wouldn't be surprised if Canada is let go in 2024 but I also wouldn't be surprised if he is still on the staff in 2024... provided he shows results.

No Conspiracy it is a fact that Matt Canada has been MIA this offseason and people are finally starting to wonder why?

Glenn Thomas didn't go to any either. The offense is already young.

What difference does it make if Canada attended any pro days? He's not going to have a say in the draft anyway.

Put me in the camp of thinking it’s significant that Canada is not present at any of these pro days. Canada has a very specific offense, makes sense they would not draft players based on how he evaluates them if they have no intention of keeping him past this season.

I’m hoping that he will be neutered this season much the way Butler was.

i disagree blast. i think thomas is a QB and pass game guru. he wasn't really known for his run game but as a passing game background. i posted in one of these threads about his background with guys like holgerson that were from the texas tech passing game. canada's rungame increase from last year could be quite helpful as well. they seem to be building for that to be the forefront. if it is a collaboration of all parties involved then great. why not take the best of all worlds to make the offense click?

That should tell you the Steelers are focused on defense

I still believe that the team would be better off with Wright playing RT with Chuks and Moore battling it out for LT.

Wright was an average at best college LT early in his college career. Everyone out there thinking they could easily move Wright to LT are putting lipstick on a pig. It would be about as bad as moving Dan Moore to RT.

I really like the way Wright plays, but I don't want him at #17 as a LT; I want him at #32 as a RT.
