Pro Bowl

With the Steelers currently #1 in Defense who do you think really has a chance to make the Pro Bowl on Defense? No one really stands out to me this year. Maybe Clark? Don't want to get into a discussion of whether the Steelers should be ranked #1 or not.

 

I say Clark and maybe Timmons.

 

Clark, Timmons and maybe Ike if he can get back.

 

Yeah, Clark.

 

Ike does not deserve to be in the pro bowl, no way in hell.
Timmons maybe, but that's about it

 

Kinda forgot about Timmons. Yeah maybe.

 

Definitely not ike. Ryan Clark and thats about it.

 

This could be a unique situation having the #1 Defense with only one or two Pro Bowlers.

 

Or none. I won't be voting any of these clowns. In fact, there's not a single player on this entire team I would vote into the pro bowl, not when they play the way they did tonight, and against Cleveland, and against Oakland, and against Tennessee, etc. Nobody deserves a free happy meal from McDonalds at this point, let alone a trip to Hawaii.

The sad thing is a team with a worst ranking defense will have more pro bowlers than us. We might have one pro bowler and a possible.

 

My mother deserves to go to the Pro Bowl more than Foote does.

 

Timmons, Clark, Ike (yea ike)

 

Dude I know you're frustrated with the loss as am I, but clowns? Go take a shower and cool off.

 

Ike may have an outside shot. The injury doesn't help.

Clark or Timmons. no one else really deserves it. Ben probably would have until he got hurt. Miller has a chance.

 

Clark, Miller thats it for the PGH Steelers up to this point.

There are only 2 players on this team deserving Pro Bowl considerations and they are Ryan Clark and Ben Roethlisberger. Clark has been a stud all year and Ben has been really good, its too bad he was injured for 3 games, he may have had his best statistical year if not for the injury. Ike Taylor may not get much love from the fans of Pittsburgh because he isnt a turn over machine, but he is a sure tackler 99% of the time and his cover skills are right up there with the best in the league. I really dont know why he gets so little respect in this town. However his injury will keep him out of the Pro Bowl and with him being out just may be the cause for this team missing the playoffs....Steeler fans will get a huge education as to how important Ike has been to that secondary. I am a die hard Steeler fan and yes Ike makes me mad when he drops interception opportunities but most of the time balls arent even thrown in his direction. I hope we can still win with Ike being out but if Sunday was any indication of whats to come....I dont know if we have enough depth to pull this off. Cortez Allen cant cover the crossing pattern and Josh Victorian looks like a grade schooler trying to play with the big kids...I think we are in trouble in the secondary now that our #1 CB is out.

Steelers that will make it based on the past but might not deserve it, Ben, Troy, and Pouncey

Guys with a chance, Timmons, and Suisham

 

I never thought I'd be saying it given what has transpired this season, but I believe that if Troy plays the final 3 games of the regular season the way he played against SD AND we make the playoffs, then he should be a legitimate candidate - despite playing in only a handful of games.

More wishful thinking. But yeah, along with Ben he was the only one to actually show up Sunday.

 

There is no way Troy is Pro Bowl worthy...he has done virtually nothing since he came back. I said Clark earlier and I stand by that but some others have said Miller- and I actually agree with that. How about Suisham?

 

Clark , Miller, Timmons,Ike Suisham, That's it no one else!!!
