During the first Quater the Giants beat on Vick.
The rest of the game, the Giant D line got nothing done and the Eagle O racked up the yards.

I hope the Steeler D can harass Vick.

I'm really not worried about the Steeler O.

Steeler D better get mean or McCoy and Jackson will have big days.

How do you suppose we are going to block the Eagles front seven?

Lets be realistic here. We're not going to stop Vick. Ben & the offense has to put up 30 plus points for us to have a chance. What are the odds of that happening against the Eagles defense?

What makes you think we can get pressure on vick? Our O-Line will have major problems dealing with the Eagles D-Line. They rotate 9 guys in and out to stay fresh. Hopefully, we go no huddle to keep them from rotating. If our offense can't get 35+ points, we will not win!

    Hell, we couldn't pressusre Palmer!

i think we will be in the no huddle all game long. Also i think after all this predictable talk DL will have some tricks up his sleeve. Maybe he brings back the plan from the pats game last year.

I'm thinking, since it's a home game, we'll be fine. :yeehaw:

Palmer knew everything we were running on D like he was in practice. Vick doesn't read defenses as well but he's a great runner ala Tebow and that's what concerns me more.

It's not like the coaches can't study us on tape and then let Vick know everything we're doing. The entire football world is calling us predictable right now, so it wouldn't surprise me if the Eagles coaches knew a lot of what we are going to do.

I am feeling good about it. Ecstatic in fact knowing we play better at home and they have had time to study Philadelphia and come up with a good game plan.

People are concerned about Phillies front 7 and rightfully so but this is the second time they have faced them so you expect they have an answer for the QB pressure. Mendy is back so expect our running game make an appearance

its make or break time. both the Ravens and Bengals are 3-1 and looking very good. coming out of the bye, we will know what kind of team this is.

the defense is what it is and there isnt any help on the way. they have to make it happen with the guys they have on the roster. its time for the young guys to get more playing time.

the secondary can only cover a guy for so long. if the front seven cant get pressure on the qb, the secondary will always look bad. thats the way it is. there is no way the secondary will be able to cover the Eagle speedy wr's if Vick has 7 seconds in the pocket all game.

the offense will for the Steelers will put up points. its now on the defense to start making some plays and creating turnovers. they had 15 all of last year and they arent doing much better this season. if they dont show improvement than major changes on defense will have to happen.

im still say their defensive rating last year was very misleading. they were not a top defense and Tebow of all people proved it. so far this season its more of the same. i dont care what their ranking says. im watching it with my eyes and i can see they are not very good on defense.

It's not the offense we should be worried about (unless the fumblitis continues). I think our offense will do well. But where on earth are you going to get the pressure on Vick from? Harrison will not start. Woodley can only do so much, Hood and Heyward are non-existent, Hampton is fat and slow, Carter/Worlids, do they even have a sack yet? O Where art thou Timmons will do nothing. As the other poster said above we'll have to score 35+ points to win! Or have TOP of 45+ minutes should give us a win. That'll keep our defense off the field.

Hopefully Tomlin kicks their ass in practice this week and the D AND special teams comes out fired up.

Harrison practiced today and as long as there is not another set back will start.

Recent history suggests we shouldn't be too optimistic about Harrison playing.
Not so sure last years Pats type of game plan is the way to go here. I haven't watched much of the Eagles, but I don't believe they are a dink and dunk type team. They have a legit TE that can kill you in the middle and a good back that catches some check downs, but it seems Vick is trying to throw down the field a lot and they also have some concerns on their O-line.

if a beat up giants team can almost beat the eagles at home, i think our fresher offense will put up more points, our D sucks so I'm only looking at our team to score more
