Preseason week 3:Steelers vs lions

Exactly what I said. Everything they have let go.....then all of a sudden....they decided to get strict.

 

Lots of poor tackles, and, or terrible angles

 

Right. What difference does it make in pre season?

 

I’d like to see Plumlee with sone decent players around him.

 

Doesn't seem to make any difference to Tomlin

 

OK maybe we go 0-3 but there is a sliver of hope for the Super Bowl.

Redskins went 0-4 won SB
Rams went 0-3 won SB

Only 2 ever did it. The Chiefs went 0-3 this season.

 

With these performances, it should make the cuts down to 53 easy to make.

 

Them Harbaughs are very unlikable for me. LoL. I'm not saying they can't coach....I'm just being honest.....I really don't like either of them. LoL

Last time the steelers were winless in preseason it was in 2013 and they had their first 0-4 start since 1968....

Nothing is meaningless, but as for what it will have to do with our regular season record. Meaningless.

 

Don’t agree, Tomlin is both timid and agressive, depending on his ‘feel’. He doesn’t live in his fears, except when he does.

 

Don’t like seeing Watts down…. Got pushed in the back.

 

The team just got back to back penalties on 4th down, with all the scrubs in the game and you're complaining about not going for it .

 

He always expects his defense to bail him out, however unlikely the situation is. No confidence in his offense

 

I mean he went for it and a penalty happened.

 

Good to see Watts walk off the field on his own, he has a chance to stick around even if it's on the practice squad.

A and B. The actual final score is meaningless. However, nearly every thing that happened from the start of the game to the end of the game is meaningful. We may not see it but every single move, tackle either made or missed, punt, pass, kick, catch or block is being evaluated by somebody on the sidelines. Their ability to do so and find some kind of diamond in the rough is what makes one coaching staff stand out from another.
As most of you know, I'm certainly not part of the Doom and Gloom Crew here but I just don't know if our coaching staff as a whole are good enough.

Dude, it's a pre-season game. Why not go for it anyway? They needed a 3 and out to bail them out, I don't think the odds were any worse than going for it

 

I'm guessing it is very meaningful to a few guys wallets.
