I like Kool Aid, especially The Steelers flavor. Not much of a fan of the hater flavor though.

JPW has the following on his resume:

    2009 Atlanta
    2010 Atlanta
    2011 Atlanta
    2012 Jacksonville
    2013 Pittsburgh

Yes, you see this correct. He is in his 5th training camp. I have said this in another place, if you are tied with a rookie while you are in your 5th camp, guess what...you are getting cut.

Not insulting, just been around long enough to know some people look at things through their heart, some use their eyes. There is very troubling signs IMO.

Defense. 5 years ago you could say Ryan Clark was out worst starting DB. Now he is 5 years older and now past his prime and by far the best Steelers DB. At LB, Woodley parties in Hot tubs, Foote is solid player but dont anyone question why he cant get beat out at LB? Timmons is good, and there is a big ? at other LB spot. The DL is also worse to what it was 5 years ago.

Offense. 1. WTF - seriously, i look at talent, play calling and I dont know what I am seeing. Last few years have gone down hill a bit.

Compliment? sure, take it and run. Just saying you shouldnt be gambling much on your favorite team this year. There are many question marks and a big flat showing deserves a stink eye

Agree about the offense, even though the zone blocking looks better. They need to show a lot more in the passing game to be a contender. At least throw farther down the field more. I know they are trying to protect Ben, but we need to open up the passing game more than we did last year. They looked out of sync in the passing game, preseason or not.

Ben said earlier today that they specifically wanted to focus on screens and the short game vs. the Giants. That should help calm some fears about the lacking long ball in the first preseason game.

I saw that interview. They still need a lot of work in the screen department.

Agreed, but that`s not a new problem.
I am glad they are trying to fix it.
Maybe this new "athletic" O-line will help...
Seriously, when is the last time anyone remembers us having a good "screen" game???
With all the talent we have had here over the years, that has just always been one aspect of the game, where we seem to fall noticeably short of every other team in the league, and I just don`t get it?!?!?!
With the decent(to HOF Caliber) linemen we have had over the past 20 years, good tight ends, good recieveing runningbacks, all the ingredients you could ask for.. Hell, even Malone, or Brister, could loft the ball 5 yards downfield over the defense`s heads, when we invite `em in...
WHY CAN WE NOT RUN A SIMPLE SCREEN PLAY TO ANY OF OUR BACKS/TIGHTENDS, WITH ANY EFFECTIVENESS, over the last 40 or so years?!?!
    Maybe it`s a philosophy/schematic thing?
I dunno.. I`ve seen us very rarely, try to put that in our gameplan, but I have NEVER seen us be effective at it.
It is one of the simplest, and most effective blitz-killers, in the history of the game, and yet, we have ALWAYS sucked at it...
    WHY?!?!?!
EDIT... THE "BUBBLE SCREEN " DOES NOT COUNT FOR PURPOSES OF THIS DISCUSSION!!!
That is just a quick pass to a reciever, who (hopefully) has the D-back playing 5 yards off him, and is not designed to let the blitzing LBR`s get into the backfield, before releasing the ball...
That is the type of screen I am referring to, but have seldom seen us have any success using.

Is it just me or do you feel like the long balls and success rate never really seemed to make sense anyways?
