Preseason from a Coaching perspective

There are some studs and some duds in preseason. I have previously had a thought about the coaching within preseason.

If it was you, would you ask/tell the opposing preseason team to check and test things. As in, " we are curious of ( insert play name or number) if you can run this play near/ towards him, that would be great.

I guess, is there any collaboration between teams for evaluation?

Would you attempt to have a collaboration with a , won't play unless Superbowl, team to assist evaluation of player?
Does this happen?

 

There is some of that in high school scrimmages but not sure in the NFL. I dont think in preseason games but maybe in shared two team practices.
