We're not the same team without Bell and Bryant, 2-2 is what I predict, possibly 1-3. The sad thing is that the Steelers could easily go 4-0 with their presence.

    I went with 3-1.

Because I think our defense is improved, and Ben, Brown, and D-Will will carry the load. Plus two of the games are at home.

I am going 4-0. Haley knows how to call the game without Bell. Williams will do just fine I mean after all he was leading the league in rushing when Bell came back last year. I'm not sweating losing Bryant at all. Coates will get the job done in the other side. I mean we played without both of them last year and were fine. The defense is going to be a lot better than last year's defense.

I went with 3-1, but historically this team is a slow starter, I cant remember a 4-0 start in the last two decades, I can remember an 0-4 start in 2013 while ben was the starter, based on their slow starts in the past 2-2 is probably closer to where they will be after 4 games, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt with a 3-1....

3 and 1 but it will be a struggle. With Bryant and Bell it should of been 4 and 0.

    4-0

*We've won five straight against the Skins. I don't see that changing this season.

*I think we'll beat Cincy at our place. If this game was on the road in what will, this season, be a brutally hostile Nati like we've never seen before, I'd probably pick Cincy. No Burfict. Cincy lost a bit too much in the offseason. I think we beat em.

*We've lost our last 8 at Philly. Haven't beaten em there since 1965 where Jim Bradshaw's 82-yard interception return for a TD was the highlight of the day and Bill Nelsen was quarterback. I'm not too concerned about Sam Bradford (or whoever else they trot out there). I'll be in the stands that day at the Linc watching us break that streak.

*Ben has won four of five starts against the Chiefs (the only loss in '09 in OT at Arrowhead where I recall a Heath Miller fumble playing a huge role in that loss). Does anything about KC worry you? Me neither. They always seem to play us tough but I think we'll win this game by double digits.

I'm going to be weird and say that Williams will pick up where or left off last year, and Wheaton/Green are going to take the next step to become big time contributors on offense. After week 4 we will look at the combo of Brown/Williams/Wheaton/Green as being a very formidable and potent offense. Coats will catch on after a few games of experience and I think DHB will be a solid contributor too.

I do admit that I like to see the good guys succeed. I think all the players I mentioned are good guys (need more info on Green though).

The Steelers defense couldn't stop the Chiefs backup RB last season, he ran all through them.

I think 4-0 ...Sometimes less is more ...Not having to game plan so much to keep all the WR'S involved is better for the new TE,Wheaton, and DHB . Not having to share the rock with Bell is better for DW as we can now run plays that cater more to his style...

I pretty much see 2 things that keep us from being 19-0.

Turnovers. I can't look at the schedule and predict what games that will kill us, if any.

Elite Ben, vs lousy Ben. He can win for us, and he can kill us. Crystal ball can't tell me which one will show up.

If Ben was elite all the time he would be an elite QB. He isn't elite all the time. Sometimes he is horrible. I think most of us would agree with that. Sorry, I'm being a jerk. Just stirring the turd during the slow season. Please disregard this paragraph.

Wow. We throw a few 4-0's out there and you take it to 19-0? Love the optimism.

Ben is an elite qb. Period. All elite qb's have 'lousy' games.

I think we're 6-1 heading into the bye.

    I think 12-4 is realistic.

If they have a history of lousy games, are they truely elite? I'm not arguing with you, just symantics, and my vision of Elite doesn't include the amount of variability Ben has. Still glad we have him.

I'm not that optimistic. I anticipate bad games from Ben based on history. I also anticipate untimely turnovers (if there is a timely one?). I wouldn't put money on 19-0. I just haven't eliminated it from the overall probabilities. It's just 4 standard deviations to the right.

Wow, cool aid is flowing! I'll be pleasantly surprised with 4-0.

More than likely, 2-2 but I'll let my fandom shine through and say 3-1.

Last year they were 8-4 without Bell. I'm going with either 4-0 or 3-1!

Uh, you forgot INJURIES! Remember last year against Denver in the playoff game? No Brown, no Bell, no Pouncey and Ben was not a 100%! INJURIES are they absolute KEY to our season this year! If we were at full strength or even close to it, we beat Denver and who knows after that!!!
