Torrey Smith was just released. I bet the Ravens try to sign him again. Wouldnt be bad as a cheap burner

I am guessing none. A couple of bargain mid-tier players and the draft.

I just dont know if they have the luxury of paying Marshal.

If they could, AB/Bryant/Marshal would be a terror.

Well if Marshal is serious about being a Steelers fan and wanting to come here then he will take less cause he knows we can't give him the big bucks.......the ball is in his court imo

If they pay him 10 mill for two years with his talent I'd say thats a steal and defenses would be scratching their heads on who they have to double their coverage on since both brown and marshall will be lethal, hell yeah pay him 10 mill for 2 years if he wants to play here..........

I don't know if 9-10 million is a doable number for our cap situation, but having him and Bryant out wide and Brown working the slot would terrorize defenses, especially with Green able to work the middle of the field and Bell running the ball. Crazy!

We need RB depth..... FA RB is not what I'd like....

Latavis Murray is interesting if the numbers fit...

WR is a need and desire ,,, I like Alshon Jefferys but again the money ????

CB is a distant need in FA but one that may be signed first...

Kirkpatrick @ 3 yr 6.5 mil is likely but I'd prefer Alteraun Verner @ a little higher clip

    Cajun

Edit--- I forgot ..... Pierre Garçon would be a nice #2 WR

Hearing from a pretty reliable twitter source that I always go to, and is usually right, that the steelers are looking hard at Kirkpatrick, Claiborne, and Amukamara? Said we should be able to land one?

Not a done deal by any stretch but, Colts and Falcons are reportedly pursuing OLB Nick Perry. Price tag estimates at 10mil per

For those who like Claiborne, think about his injury history:
2013 played 10 games - missed several games due to a hamstring injury
2014 played 4 games - went to IR with a torn patellar tendon
2015 played 11 games - missed games due to hamstring and ankle injuries
2016 played 7 games - missed half the season due to a groin injury

Some guys have a tendency to get hurt, and he seems to be one of them.

Nickell Roby-Coleman - slot corner from Buffalo. Supposedly (per PFF) held opposing QBs to a 74 passer rating on attempts thrown his direction. PFF also graded him 8th out of around 50 free agent corners that they scored. I'm not advocating him because I haven't really watched the guy play, but it sounds like a typical Steers role player signing.

If I were the GM and needed to make moves to improve our team, I would do the following:
LB need- sign one of these three to replace timmons: Zach Brown from buffalo or alexander from Buffalo, or Dumervil from Baltimore
RB backup- maybe bring in Lacey if a. healthy and b. willing to take a 1 year incentive laden deal.... or sign burkhead from Cincy
cb need- maybe look @ Amukamura or Claiborne
wr- bring in Patterson (to do both wr and returns to help keep AB healthy) maybe pryor or for veteran presence bring in Bolden?

Simon signed with the Colts, and Nick Perry is back with the Packers. Pick 1:30 is really looking to be locked in for OLB, which is a shame because a FA OLB worthy of starting would have really opened things up draft wise.

Was a big Simon fan and was crushed when Rats took him but he's done next to nothing. 10 sacks in 4 years. He produced better with the Texans but he's not what they need opposite Bud. He's a Moates type player.
